Really? I thought Street Kings was too much of a wanna-be Training Day. The twists seemed almost a bit too forced and possibly expected. I didn't think it was a horrible movie, but I'd say maybe 6/10 or 6.5/10. Keanu Reeves tends to put me to sleep too :p. Actually let's give it +1 because it had Dr. House in it :p.

The Ringer: 0/10 Terrible...
City of God: 8/10 Fantastic, reminded me of Pulp Fiction as far as the storytelling is concerned.
The Dark Knight: 9/10 Little far fetched at times, but strong cast and great action!

Just remembered 2 more I watched recently:

Wall-E: 8/10 One of the best animated movies I;ve seen. Great story, beautifully animated and just a tonne of fun overall.

300: 7/10 I liked it, but I didn't love it. I found it dragged a bit in parts, but it may have just been the mood I was in. I own the Blu-ray, so I'll have to give it another watch.

Tropic thunder - 5/10 wouldn't recommend to anyone, not funny even though I like most Ben Stiller movies
Step Brothers - 7.5/10 has its moments, some parts are funny because of how stupid the script is. Skip if you don't love Will Ferrell.
Sunshine - 6/10 interesting/weird space flick, could have been better
28 days later - 9/10 I just watched again because I love the movie

American Gangster- 7.5/10
Well-acted, competently made, but lacks that "je ne sais quoi" (I fuckin suck at French) to elevate it to classic status

Wall-E : 8/10 - Great film! Still liked Finding Nemo the best out of these animated movies though

Walk Hard, Dewey Cox Story : 6.5/10 - Had a few strong laughs but they were too few and far between. Tim Meadows is awesome and Jenna Fischer is super hot, as usual.

Semi-Pro : 4/10 - Again a few good laughs, rest of the movie was shit.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters - 10/10.

This alone would have made the movie worth watching!

Was that in the movie? I love that clip, but the movie sucked so much ass I think I may have blocked it out. ATHF is meant to be watched in 15 min increments.

Bah!
It's best to watch as a marathon, All 5 seasons and then the movie to top it off.
My only complaint about the movie is that it was too short.

mama's boy - 5/10 - commercials looked fairly funny but it was pretty dumb
me, you, and everyone we know - 6/10 - pretty weird freaking movie
doomsday - 8/10 - a little over the top gory but pretty decent action flick.
Be Kind, Rewind - 7/10
Juno - 7/10 - Not as funny as it looks. Seems to drag on for way too long. Ok for a once through but I wouldn't watch it again.
10,000 BC - 7/10 - Another movie that seems to drag on for too long. Action sequences are pretty cool though.
Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay - 6/10 - over the top shock value scenes, cliched scenes, 5 minutes of the movie is spent in Guantanamo. Slightly worse than the 1st one.

TV series -

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - 10/10 - most hilarious entertainment I've seen in a while. Pretty much every episode had me loling several times. Charlie is my favorite character.

Burn Notice - 10/10 - awesoem show. nice mixture of action and comedy.

Shutter 3/10 - boring, not very scary, unbelievable reactions to situations

Donnie Darko 7/10 - haven't had time to finish this yet.. so it may go up or down

I have been catching up on the TV Show Fear Itself - I give this a solid 8/10.

And, I'm finishing the final season of The Wire - this is easily 10/10.

EDIT: oh, I forgot The Bank Job - 8/10

How the fuck could you watch that shitty movie?

2/10 from me for being utter, boring crap.

Woulda be nicer for me if the damn thing I read on it about Amazon didn't spoil a couple of the episodes for me. I just want to know what the damn series is about, I start reading and once you know you're reading spoilers, you've already read enough to ruin an episode or two. Also, what the fuck is up with 20th Century Fox setting the MSRP for the Burn Notice Season 1 DVD set to $50 for ELEVEN episodes. Of course I only paid $25 for it on Amazon, but House season 4 is only $33 for over 20 episodes. I've noticed that USA shows seem to have high DVD box set costs compared to other networks. To buy Psych season 1, it costs $40 on Amazon!

I absolutely hate that kind of crap. I swear it is getting more and more difficult to avoid spoilers these days.

By the way thanks to everyone for the posts so far, very helpful and informative.

Psych Season 1 was pretty funny but I think it's gone downhill a bit after that.

Oddly 'nuff, I also watched this recently and I agree with your assessment. Perhaps Don Cheadle (the original choice for lead role) would have added some extra oomph. Denzel Washington and his style have become trite.

I agree that season one was probably the best of them all, but I think the draw of the show is the interaction between Shawn and Gus, which is still there. Juliette is still a hottie too :D. I'd recommend if you're looking for a fun "who did it" TV show, (the collective) you may want to check out season 1 of Psych. The only thing I hate is when they do their "super focus highlight" on a bunch of obvious stuff in the scene. I just think, "does he really need to be that astute to his surroundings to see something that obvious?" :p.

I also watch Monk as well, which had a really bad episode so far this season. I say really bad, because just like Psych, Monk is one of those "who did it" TV shows. It was the episode with the lotto girl being killed, but they showed the killer under the veil of night, but you saw enough of him to get an idea that some of the people they interviewed were certainly not the killer. Was a bit disappointed in that episode. But it's still a fun show to watch as there's not much on Fridays since TGIF went away years ago :p.
