Does anyone else see a problem with cnn.com having something related to the prison pictures as the main focus news story while having the beheading under the 'More Top Stories' section?
Maybe I just don't quite understand mass media appeal. I guess they put that story there because they think most people who visit cnn.com would rather read about some negative crap a few soldiers did as opposed to just another US citizen killed in the Middle East. Or maybe I'm tired and thinking a little too much.

this is what you get when you pussyfoot around with people who only speak one language, they do not want to be your "friend". they do not want to share ideas and be "tolerant" of you. if we leave the majority of people in iraq who depise the terrorist as much as we do will suffer, just as they did under saddam.

Well put. I find it troubling that people get so beside themselves with anger over a single murder. The killing of Nick Berg is despicable and inexcusable, but the fact that a few demented terrorists committed an awful crime does not justify arguments to annihilate the entire surrounding region. There is nothing evil about Iraqis per se. and advocating their genocide is lower than low. We have already killed untold thousands of them over the last year and a half, and more killing is not the answer.
I am a patriot to the core, and a GI, but I can understand the rage Arabs feel toward us under the circumstances. To them we must look like nothing but hypocritical bullies, and even if we are not as bad as Saddam Hussein. we are plenty bad in their eyes.

Do some arab peoples actually approve of this video.. if they do it is a revelaton into what they think of US.
I remember when 9/11 happened and some people were saying that we need to try to understand WHY they hate us.. you know what happened to that person.. they were shutout by republicans and others telling her she was a liberal whacko and that she was disgustingly unpatriotic.. Truthfully.. she may have been an angel..

I'm sure some Arabs approve, but would wager that most do not. It's the same situation with the Prisoner Abuse videos/pics, some Americans approve(or excuse the actions) most do not. Much of the anger and words spoken in this thread undoubtedly were/are spoken by Iraqis and other peoples in the Mid-East. Someone needs to be man enough to stop the cycle.
