Remember this guys?
Lindsey Graham in July 2017: "If Sessions is fired, there will be holy hell to pay."
I'm sure he'll be very concerned about this. Might even furrow his brow.

Mueller likely won't invoke a Constitutional crisis. He'll indict anybody other than the President, even name him obliquely in other indictments, then hand it off to the DoJ & ultimately Congress.Eh, I've seen people like Laurence Tribe argue that it's a possibility to indict a sitting president. Even if one couldn't, Mueller could simply try it.
I didn't say it was a law. I said it was a matter of practicality. Even a President held in prison is still the President with everything that entails. It can't work that way.

It’s about time more people questioned the myth that the Constitution requires impeaching and removing a president BEFORE indicting and trying him for his crimes. Those who say a sitting POTUS can’t be indicted have the burden of justifying that claim. The president isn’t a King.

Where did I say "throw him in jail"? There are lots of equitable remedies that could be attempted besides throwing him in jail.
I am amazed to see so many liberals here trying to make the argument that Trump is King of America merely because "prosecuting a president would be hard!"
So you are claiming that the judiciary has the power to remove the president from power? That's what throwing him in jail would do.
Assuming that he is indicted and tried then found guilty. What then? He's still the President, so what happens after that?
Trump better not cross this line...err that line...no this one...I wonder just how many things we are going to say that about before we really do not put up with it.
The acting AG WILL interfere with the process. In fact I am basically certain that Trump has made his selection almost entirely based on the idea that this person will interfere with the investigation.
Yes, it will probably cause a constitutional crisis. Yes, it's going to happen anyway.
Such a winning field of players.Kris Kobach is available though...
It won't be a crisis because republicans won't act on it.The acting AG WILL interfere with the process. In fact I am basically certain that Trump has made his selection almost entirely based on the idea that this person will interfere with the investigation.

Whose gonna know, unless it's leaked and who will believe a leak without seeing evidence? And then they still won't believe it even if there is evidence. When Mueller presents what he has to Whitaker .. does Whitaker really have a choice? If the evidence is there, wouldnt Whitaker be committing obstruction if he put a lid on it?

I'm not surprised the Kavanaugh-is-guilty-without-any-proof-crowd would think like this.
