It really does seem like a lot of Repubs will vengeance vote and completely ignore how incompetent and psychologically crippled Trump is. Those folks have nothing on their minds other than putting Trump back in office out of pure spite. They're insulted that over 8 million more voters felt that Trump needed to get booted out of office and especially angry over how the Dems twice impeached Trump, THEIR Trump of all people, the guy who can't EVER do anything wrong yet kept proving them wrong every time he opened his yapper or twiddle-dee-tweeted his way into a 50ft. hole full of shit.

Wonder how the geopolitical situation looks like 10-20 years down the road after the US has "backslided" into a mafia state, it is relatively easy to imagine and extrapolate what Trumpism started exporting (uptill now its only been a domestic concept I guess) : Policy for sale.
So who can afford to buy the US military, where will they use it and what kind of discount will Putin get?

Thank god I've not produced sons. I see a world in flames.

It’s a wonder that he actually took this long to say this out loud. Like he’s trying to win back the fools he lost with his vaccine comments.

If Trump wins in 2024, he says he would pardon the Jan 6th rioters. o_O

Lol, the time to do that would have been before he left office and he didn't. Few of them would even still be incarnated by the time he would theoretically take office. Still impressed that people don't really get that Trump just uses up people and largely throws them away when done instead of rewarding them.

Calling for "protests" of prosecutors who are looking into him is more worrisome but it does show that he's concerned about the various probes into his business and conduct.

Just saw some more out takes from his speech. So he wants protestors in the streets of NYC and DC. We have seen how his protests turn out already.

You know.... who's to say, seriously, whos to say that Donald Trump is not a soviet operative? Or Fox news Tucker Carlson? Or that Marjorie Taylor Greene is not a soviet operative? People who believe differently, who have crossed over or raised from the start to purposely harm American values and promote dictatorship-like communist-like authoritarian government?
I mean... how do we know?
How do we know what they are really up to, the true intentions, what they truly believe, and most importantly why they would then seek political power? Why would someone like Trump or Greene even care about politics?

Donald Trump was a man of the world, and heavily involved in finance. Is it so hard to believe that Donald Trump just might have considered the big picture and decided that governments of dictatorship and governments of authoritarianism are the better? Especially the better for someone like Donald Trump, who's interests are invested in finance and in raw power?

Just because we share a common bond, as Americans, why would we believe and become so naive to just blindly accept and assume the other guys are what they say they are? If Greene was an operative and Donald Trump also an operative, do you really think they would openly admit this? If they expose themself for who they really are, then how can they succeed in carrying out what they intend to carry out?

Think about it.
How do we know?
Why do we assume, when what they preach compared to how they act are so in conflict? How exactly would a Soviet operative achieve their goals if not by deceiving, and then producing?
We have the Q's and the proud boys and the numerous white supermacist groups who all support and align with Donald Trump, so how do we know their true intentions and true orientations?

We assume they are American based, of different beliefs, but how do we really know of the hows and whys that they came to be?
What..... are they up to?
The Hannity's, the Carlson's, the Greene's, the Giuliani's, the Trump's?
What ARE they up to, exactly.....???

This is what I consider to be a very long yet only a partial list of the legal troubles Trump is facing:

Add to that his many personality disorders, among them his being a pathological liar, that crippled his ability to be an effective, productive and unifying POTUS. So just what does Trump offer the nation that over 70 million Americans thought he should be (and still is for ~70% of Repubs LOL) our president again?

I've not heard of any real and factual ones on this forum or any other political forums and media outlets that I'm aware of. As a matter of fact, his qualifications for the job (if any) has not been a subject of contention simply because we all know just how badly he ran his administration and what a horrible mess of a person he is.

It seems to me his only use for the party he hails from is that of being a comical rabble rouser, a flailing failing symbol to rally around. But just look at what he's actually and factually done to the Repub party since 2016. He's turned that party into an image of himself which includes every single vile thing that's so criminally wrong with him. He recruited every racist and anti-gov't militia to his side and relied on them to commit sedition and spearhead an insurrection for his personal benefit.

Yet it's gotten to the point where his numerous liabilities, his laundry list of legal troubles and his dismal record as POTUS does not matter anymore to his supporters nor (come to think of it) has it ever mattered to them. That's some serious nation destroying shit right there, where the only thing that matters to his supporters is his talent as a showman and conman.

Nice article bringing together all the know troubles

But back to 2015. With all his known affairs, his supporters already ignored that POTUS used to be held to a higher standard. They gave lame excuse, we’re not voting him for Pope

Trump will IMO win the presidential election if he actually decides to run. There is talk that Biden won't run in 2024 because of his age. He will be 82. So, who do we have? Kamala Harris? I don't think so, and if she does run Trump will destroy her. I think Trump will easily beat Biden if he does run. Are you people ready for another round of Trump as president? A Trump 2.0 if you say...

Trump looks like he'll run to reclaim the presidency in 2024 (msn.com)

Convicted felons can't serve, no matter how many votes they get.

Convicted or not I wish he would just go away. We don't need Trump 2.0.
I've never seen an asshole improve with age.
Aim your fire at others. If there weren't so many racist deplorables on the right it wouldn't matter how much of a scumbag Trump is. He would be like when the Enterprise beamed Jack the Ripper into open space, widest possible dispersion. He would exist as trillions of bits of energy, completely powerless.

As each day passes, Donald Trump is feeling more and more insignificant in the Republican party. Trump is becoming the Norma Desmond of the RNC. He is ready for his closeup, but will the cameras be there? And as Trump's influence and importance flounders among his loyalist, naturally Trump must egg them on by feeding them what he thinks they want to hear. If republicans and especially Trump republicans seriously hope to take back the Whitehouse in 2024 those republicans are now realizing they must begin to look around for plausible alternatives to Donald Trump because Trump himself is not going to do it.
They've listened to Trump's whinging long enough and its no longer selling. Not like it once did. Trump will play with the idea of running and toy his people on, but even Donald Trump will question whether or not he can pull it off in 2024, and one thing that will definitely keep Donald Trump from running is, his risk of losing..... twice. THAT risk of failure Trump could never live down and he knows it.

Well, you had your chance with the bills to protect the votes... Democrats failed at doing that because that is what Democrats do, they fail. Of course some will whine about "certain democrats" but that won't matter because they were not excluded when they did their voting against all important democratic policies to ensure free and fair elections.

I blame the Democrats for what will happen next, they had a chance to stop it and chose not to. To me that is worse than the ones enacting fascism.

Classic.

98% of Senate Democrats did the right thing but because 100% of Republicans are fucking fascist shitbags, it's the Democrats' fault.

Rinse, repeat, BothSidesDoIt™.

It's his to take if he wants it. Call it "Dems in Disarray," or gas at $7/gallon, or whatever the reason ends up being.

Sounds like he is planning on just firing everyone and getting his own people entrenched in there. Good way to never, ever lose again.
