I'm pretty sure Biden won't run in 2024. I think the Democrats might fuck themselves by having a camp that will refuse to vote for another white dude, even though I think someone like mayor Pete would be the best because he's just so quick on his feet and can really decimate those right-wing talking points better than anyone.

I mean, I'd really want Elizabeth Warren to become president but only a moderate Democrat can win and mayor Pete has those credentials

This thread is dumb. No chance in hell Trump runs unless he gets a Republican Congress in 2022 first (or at least a GOP House majority.) He has plenty of time to see how things shake out before committing. Otherwise, he’s all too happy to play Kingmaker and have every primary candidate line up on their knees to kiss the ring and slobber his knob.

I think the general consensus is that with the ‘redistricting/gerrymandering Republicans will easily take back the House.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the voters. Not only will redistricting/gerrymandering hand the house back to republicans, republican candidates will actually take credit for Biden's infrastructure bill while blaming Biden for passing the infrastructure bill. Explain THAT if you can.

Big question being: What are the Dems, (of whom currently have control of the gov't) doing about that?

Well hell....
Trump might as well be the president because you'd think he still was. Democrats can't seem to catch a break on the investigations into Trump, Trump's cronies like Steve Bannon simply thumb their nose at subpoenas from democrat committees. The courts are basically upholding Trump's claim of executive privilege and Trump isn't even the sitting president. Everything Trump wants, Trump gets. So just re-elect the jerk because not much has changed without Trump than with Trump. Trump devised the insurrection yet Trump walks free, Trump's tax returns were supposed to be his demise yet even after getting Trump's tax returns.... nada. And.... And.... we have only months until the next election. That election of 2022. The big kahuna followed by an even bigger kahuna in 2024.

Can someone give me a no bullshit, agenda-free answer about why inflation rose so much last year? Is it supply/demand issues related to largely opening the economy but dealing with supply line issues? Is it related to the COVID relief money that went out earlier in the year?

What’s also not surprising is republicans blaming Biden for it.

And of course it seems millions of them are ignorant of the facts of the matter or choose to ignore the facts in order to go all in with the lies that support their cause. They're doing the same thing with the price of gas or anything else they can barf up on the wall in order to enjoy the mess it makes. Subterfuge and sabotage is their only play simply because they can't point to anything of substance that their party has done for the middle class and the poor which constitutes the vast majority of the nation.

That horse is so beaten to death at Fox, they had to find another one, and another one, and.........

Of course MSM is not much better, giving no background foundations of why it's not solely Biden's fault.

Scenario....
IF Trump runs and IF Trump wins come 2024, can Trump along with his republican house and senate dismantle everything which Joe Biden has accomplished? Much like Trump tried to do, and in many cases did do to what the Obama administration had accomplished?

I ask because we know, we all know this is exactly what Donald Trump would do if ever given the chance. It would be by by to BBB right in its tracks, and as for the Biden infrastructure that too would come to a halt. A bridge half built, abandoned. And why? Why would Trump and Trump republicans do this? Because.... he can. That is all the reasoning Donald Trump would need, that he can and so he will. Trump would simply because it was Joe Biden who passed this agenda, and not Trump, and that alone Donald Trump could never tollerate.

But don't mind me, I don't really want to play the Debbie downer, I'm just planning ahead. Planning ahead and preparing ahead if and when Donald Trump returns to power. Minus some spiritual divine intervention, Trump will retune to power like it or not.
PRAY for a lightening bolt. We need the lightening bolts. I pray to see Donald Trump interact with a lightening bolt.

Inflation has been at 0% for nearly 12 years. So, yeah.

Stop being fucking stupid.

Donny and Jnr: Trump & Trump

Something for the base to blow their loads over.
Imagine if they’re successful at taking the wh conventionally or by coup? The rest of the world will have to come to terms with the biggest military on the planet being run by a retarded mafioso boss and coked out son. Strange times.
And taj and the rest of the brandons will be like “but we didnt mean…”

It really does seem like a lot of Repubs will vengeance vote and completely ignore how incompetent and psychologically crippled Trump is. Those folks have nothing on their minds other than putting Trump back in office out of pure spite. They're insulted that over 8 million more voters felt that Trump needed to get booted out of office and especially angry over how the Dems twice impeached Trump, THEIR Trump of all people, the guy who can't EVER do anything wrong yet kept proving them wrong every time he opened his yapper or twiddle-dee-tweeted his way into a 50ft. hole full of shit.

it doesn't matter what you or i think about these polls, it matters what Trump thinks about these polls.

this is the Trump is gearing up for a run thread and the Politico article addresses just that.
