"This plane can fly into downtown Tehran without anyone even knowing about it since it can't be detected on radar"

If you use torrents look for the Military channel show on this plane. It is absolutely unbelievable.

Pretty good invention for what some here call a 3rd world country 😉

People call Israel a 3rd world country?

Are they out of their minds?!

No no no. The USA. I realize the F35 is a joint task force project, but since it's Northrop's and Lockeeds project primarily, I consider it an American invention. Not to mention the funding 🙂

Poke around. Many have either said we are a 3rd world country or we're on our way. But whatever.

These planes probably have little value for you

i'm not sure what you mean. the US airforce alone is buying 1800 of them. they're about $40 million each.

ok my bad. But your rich are probably the main beneficiaries of the deal anyhow.

Youre right. Because 1800 planes are actually built completely by multimillionaires wearing smoking jackets.

Are you serious?

Are you suggesting the Israeli pilots are better than U.S pilots?

Cause they are not. Sorry.

No, I am not saying Israeli pilots are better than U.S pilots. I'm only saying the Israeli Airforce is less politically twisted, and as a result, those with skill get to fly. There isn't twenty thousand years to be one the lucky few @ss kissers who get to hop in an F-16.

Israel has the most efficient and best air combat track record in the world.

Of course, they kinda have to be...

I'll give you $10,000 if you become an air force pilot in the U.S.

I have motion sickness. Flew a plane once....threw up all over the cockpit.

Uh? You can go down to your local civil airport (testing, private, chartered planes etc..) and grab a flying lesson for ~150 mulla. I went the cheaper route with the Cessna152. 😀

Also flew a helicopter once, that was crazy.

Get off the internet and try something new.

The question is, what th hell does Israel need F-35's for. They already outclass any air force in the region. But if Israel wants to even contemplate taking on Iran from bases in Israel, they need planes with longer ranges and planes able to fly greater bomb loads. Both things I don't think Israel should be allowed to have.

Did you not read the article? More range than any aircraft currently in the Israeli air force, and the mentioned attributes (greater payload, increased ability to evade radar, etc...etc..) makes replacing the dated U.S aircraft donations quite appealing.

Yup.

Clearly you underestimate just how effective Israel is. I'm sure they have a hundred plans written up for attacking Iran. Israel doesn't need more war, but if Iran continues on this nuclear tirade, the U.S, E.U, and U.N will not be able to stop the cycle.

Why?

Both things I don't think Israel should be allowed to have.

Why?

Because Israel has shit for brains leadership unwilling to make any peace with their neighbors. Increasing Israeli military strength only serves to wreck any prospects of Mid East peace. And last summers incursions into Lebanon are quite enough proof.

Are you serious? I'm not even gonna start.

The first step towards peace is to end the arms race.

Interesting, but how old do you have to be to be allowed to fly a plane?

13 for training and 14 for certification, I think. You can get your pilots license before you can drive. Haha.

As others have said this is a direct payment from your(our) pockets to Lockheed and Israel gets free planes. Why this is allowed to continue is beyond my ability to comprehend. But make no mistake, someone like Hillary Clinton is just going crank this up because she  Israel and AEI.

I was doing some reading and supposedly the Russians' IR tech is so far advanced it basically renders all current stealth technology useless.

Heh just like their advanced radar system allowed Israeli jets to fly through Syrian airspace and bomb a facility?

I dont put much faith in Soviet and current Russian designs.

The Syrians don't have any of the "good" stuff either.

10 years ago antiquated Russian radar shot down an F-117A and the Russians have always had a leg up on us with IR which we never focused on for some reason.
