Israel to Recieve F35 Warplanes

Though contract details haven't yet been negotiated, what do you want to bet Israel can buy them for less than the US government?

These planes should ensure Israeli air superiority throught the Occupied Ter... er, Middle East.

lol, you need to make your posts a little less transparent Nebor. The counter-trolling you're doing isn't going to be as effective if people know you're faking it. 😀

Receive is an interesting word. Since the U.S. gives Israel the money to buy them.
I wonder if this somehow is considered a good thing for our trade deficit?

It's pumped back into your economy. These planes probably have little value for you and so you are virtually paying the arms company and Israel gets them for free.

All this does is promote an arms race in the M.E. If the US stopped pumping billions of dollars to fund terrorists, the M.E companies could have spent their earned money on their economy and alleviating poverty.

i'm not sure what you mean. the US airforce alone is buying 1800 of them. they're about $40 million each.

If Israel gets it, guaranteed one Arab nation will get it.

or they will buy some other stuff from Russia or China.

Maybe, but unlikely. Arabs love U.S toys.

They think Russian equipment sucks

Arabs in reality love European toys just as much, look at countries like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, but many Arab governments wouldn't dare to say no to all US offers they have to buy the stuff or else.

A person would be dearly mistaken to assume the Russian toys can't rise to the challenge, the Su-35 and the Su-47 are looking very deadly to me.

Youre right. Because 1800 planes are actually built completely by multimillionaires wearing smoking jackets.

How much military aid are we spreadin' around in the region? Isn't Isreal getting ~$40 Billion while the surrounding nations are getting something like $30 Billion?

The Su-35 hasn't been produced in numbers and not a single one has been sold outside of Russia. There is only one prototype Su-47 which is not slated for production at this time.

Also, neither is a stealth aircraft. Even an F-35 guided by an AWACS could take them out without the enemy ever figuring out where the hell the F-35 was.

Why do we need the AWACS? - it's just another target.

It's about f**king time. Saudi Arabia got the typhoon fighters before Israel or Britain, which is retarded...but eh, it's the Middle East.
We should have all our pilots train in Israel.
