Islamic justice

ugh... totally ridiculous... everytime i see a story like this, i'm taken aback by the fact that they STILL have these laws...

Usually that is used in the context of war. Domestic Islamic laws are so harsh and brutal that people would not dare break them, thus maintaining the peace. It's a terrible system but the Saudi public supports it.

Please don't call Saudi Arabia any thing close to "Islamic", they aren't. They've got their heads up their asses, and any one of the original Caliphs would've pwn3d the rapists. That ruling is unusually stupid.
