pretty sure this is like the 4th shooting i've read about in the last week at a school or other large gathering

but don't worry, guns totally aren't part of the problem /s

Guns aren’t the problem, people are. We should kill all humans.

Oh good, with the Michigan teen shooter changing to guilty plea, he’s basically implicated his parents. They deserve to all serve the same sentence together. If Texas wants to charge Dr and the Uber driver, blue states should also be allowed to go after the gun shop owner and the manufacturer.

Plus, if its the person and not the gun then go after the parents since they made the person. Then charge/sue the states/right wingers for forcing women to give birth.

Another one, at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs late last night. Currently 5 dead and 18 injured. News conference @ 8am.

This one also happens to be on transgender day of remembrance. I wouldn't be surprised if the killer planned it for today as a consequence.

Horrific.

Thank goodness for the quick actions of the two stopping the shooter. Looks like from initial reports the police were quick to respond

We continue to allow people like this access to guns based on some fucked up interpretation of 2A

It’s amazing isn’t it? The one right that was supposed to guarantee us freedom is the one right that is keeping us from being free. But I guess that’s how the founding fathers wanted it, otherwise how could the federalist society judges come to any other conclusion other than an armed society with little to no restrictions? /s

Ok so let me get this straight...

Masks...bad because...personal rights
Vaccines...bad because...personal rights/body autonomy
Abortions...bad because...baby autonomy and consent
Taking kids DNA because we need a way to ID slain kids because of failed gun control...good?
this is not failed gun control, they specifically eliminated most gun control measures due lobying from nra/gun makers, this is the oucome that should have been expected.

Or to quote one dad from Uvalde:

“It’s like wiping your ass before you take a shit,” Brett Cross, who’s son Uziyah Garcia was killed in Uvalde, wrote on Twitter. “Let’s identify kids after they’ve been murdered instead of fixing issues that could ultimately prevent them from being murdered.”

I think you are on the right track here.

The only way to stop this is to do what the victims did to Alex Jones. Hate speech is free speech but there are real victims.

Go to court against the LGBT hate speech spreaders and hit them where it hurts them the most.. their wallet.

This has to be a joke right?
(I think) What he meant is that for gun control to fail, there has to be some measure of it in place. Texas removed regulation that WAS in place, so yeah. Not failed laws, the laws just weren't there.

I don't believe guns are too blame here so much as that certain political faction that has been continually spreading inflammatory anti-LGBT rhetoric. They tell people that LGBT are "pedophiles" and "groomers" who are "coming for your children," and somehow they never expected anything like this?

I think it’s both. You create a world where pedos are everywhere and then you give people the means to kill them.

Sorry, but it is the guns. The ability to easily access guns in this country is a direct and primary factor in the violence. The rhetoric leads to stochastic terrorism, but it's executed through the mechanism of easy gun access.

when you remove regulations and make it easier to get guns there will be more guns circulating in society, which include stolen and straw buys that allow them to get into the hands of those that should never have them in the first place such as minors, criminals and the unstable.

anyone who wants to buy a gun should be thoroughly checked out and texas is one state that currently does not.

I just don't see how the founding fathers would have thought letting anyone buy weapons of mass death without restriction was really the right thing to do.
