A Good Guy With a Gun decided to get involved and got himself killed almost immediately, without stopping either one of them.

This is not a thing to be celebrated. He was lucky, this outcome is exceedingly rare compared to the frequencies of gun violence in this country.

Exactly. Only been like 20 cases in total where the good guy with a gun stopped a shooter. Half were store security or off duty cop.

Happened yesterday.... person at Dallas Love Field Airport started firing in the air, only to later be shot by a security officer, that to who was by chance near the shooter.
Apparently she also was shot when she was going to start shooting at people ( with the first target being the security officer.

The shooting surveillance starts at around 5 minute mark.
At least the officers in Dallas which is run by Democrats are not cowards, unlike the ones in Uvalde.

I think that the percentage of people that actually read articles are so low that it barely makes sense to actually write articles. Headlines are all they really want.
I'm pretty sure soon most online 'news' sources will just outsource the writing of the article to one of the experimental AI story writing programs. They will just feed it the keywords they want used and it generates a random story. So few people will ever notice that it won't be a problem.
