wait i could have sworn the clips on here showed her "vocals' starting and here on the west coast there were no vocals and just a lot of ashlee dancing around like an idiot.

They did edit it for the west coast. In the east coast version, you hear her (the tape of her) start singing. In the west coast version, they edited out the singing, you just hear the music.

Watch the video posted, they did edit it. You hear a lot of singing on the east coast version.

Exactly. That's why the SNL producers told her to give the apology she did, "I'm sorry, my band started playing the wrong song so I decided to do a hodown...", which makes perfect sense if you watch the intro without sound

They edited it to make her excuse at the end of the show make sense. With no lyrics, it looks like the band f'ed up. Damn I'd be pissed if I was the band members.

Well let's just hope that the bloggers talk about this enough to make sure everyone is fully aware of what happened and that SNL tried to cover it up.

It's on Drudge... wonder if MSNBC or CNN will pick it up in their "Entertainment" sections... somehow I doubt it.

I bet MTV won't say a word... after all they helped create her.
