True, but it is consumed in GB, more often in the northern parts but was a widespread culinary plague at one time. Blood pudding? BLECH!

I do like a good yorkshire pudding though, and we in the US don't know when to stop with sugar, well at least a lot of people. Sweetness should be balanced with tartness of acid like citrus and so on which those on the Great British Baking Show seem to know. I can't watch the American equivalent.
What is Yorkshire puddling anyway? And Blood Pudding, aka Black Sausage?

Yorkshire pudding is great, it's true. Never understood blood puddings; you're basically eating a scab with some casing. Quickest way to ruin a great big "UK" breakfast IMO, and I say that as someone who will eat kippers. I've always wondered why baked beans, fries and grilled tomatoes never caught on here as egg accoutrements.

Aren't kippers smoked herrings?

Best deep dish pizza is near me. Though the southern California chain "Numero Uno" (Not the national chain Uno Pizzeria) is incredible.

Yup. With a little lemon they're nice if you're into savory breakfasts and seafood. It's not for every American palate, but I'll take it over something like scrapple any day. Just include a steamed potato and we're good.

Ok now you've lost me. Probably tens of millions of French, Greeks, Italians, Arabs, South Americans too. You've just posted the equivalent of 'ketchup has no business being on fries.'

Heh. Ok. You do you man.

Ketchup has no business on fries. Tabasco or malt vinegar is what goes on fries. I'd wager $500 that if both of those were ubiquitous, and provided on the table without asking, use would surpass ketchup amongst adults.

Vinegar. Malt vinegar is what goes on kippers.

Kippers, vinegar, brown bread and butter. Preferably cooked in someone else's kitchen as it's going to smell of kippers for at least 3 days.

Many parts of the world are disgusting in that they believe emulsified fat sauce ("mayonnaise") belongs on fries.

I'd change your statement to the equivalent of 'ketchup has no business being on hot dogs.' Only soulless people believe that one.

Hmm I’m 50% soulless. Perfect plate of hotdogs for me is one with mustard (preferably yellow) with some relish then a second dog with ketchup

Don't they put lemon juice on raw oysters in the half shell?
