yeah, but you *know* it's bad when you walk outside at 10 or 11 pm or later, and it still feels like it's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. That's how it's been around here for the last week or two :p

Well, you guys would get a kick out of seeing Squisher soaked to the bone like I was standing in a shower all from my own sweat.

I spent an easy couple of hours down inside of 4 different upsetters. Imagine standing inside of a small closet where it's 120F and steam coming up all around you.

I had 4 different calls for broken bolts which I was unable to spin out with a grinder. On one set I spent 40 minutes swinging a hammer hitting a prick punch, trying to work the broken bolt out, but couldn't do it.

I drank a half gallon of water in two swigs one time today.

Do any of you guys do hard labor in these extreme weathers all day? If not, stfu.

Do you?
Don't get him going, unless you want an e-lecture and want to be "pwned".

When its 100ºF/~100% humidity outside and your have a black camaro with t-tops and you wear suit/tie to work everyday.... yes it does suck. My work and home feel great it just sucks having that sweaty feeling when your always wearing at least $400 worth of threads.

To get by it I turn my car on 15 minutes before I leave with the AC blasting.

We had a overnight LOW of 95 a couple weeks ago.

It's cooled off considerably, but we just finished a 2 week spell of temps from 100° to 115°. not missing it at all. They say it's going back up later in the week.

Well I worked outside all day in longsleeves and pants and body armor and a helmet. Go me? I'm sure it'll be way hotter once I get to Iraq.

Bah, "heat wave"! I was in the Bay Area two weeks ago and it was mid 80s with low humidity. If that's what qualifies as a heat wave to you guys, sign me up! ;)

I dont get what the big deal is myself..

Yes, but on the other hand, when it gets down to 50, we're not running around in down parkas. I grew up in Minnesota, and I'm always amused by folks from down south in the winter...it dips below 50 and they act like it's the next ice age. Of course if it tops 90 I'm sweating like there is no tomorrow, so there are tradeoffs ;)

Iraq is hot beyond any reasonable belief...

You know it's hot when soldiers actually take off body armor because it gets too hot with it on, when getting shot is actually better than dealing with the heat. Good luck, and stay cool!

I took a 45 min walk outside and enjoyed it. Then I downed a whole thing of carbonated water.

It was 91F with a heat index of 104 here. Humidity ~65%.

It's quite the drive from Rochester Hills. My wife and I went on Thursday and Friday of last week and it was our first time in Ikea. It's quite the experience.

I was down at my apartment last night and we had the sliding door open. I couldn't imagine doing that today.

You are from RH as well?

Anyways, It's 83F at 7:26AM. I don't think I have ever experienced that in Michigan before.
