Air Conditioner ftw. We've got it set to 70f, and when I get home, my air conditioner is going on high! 😛

Edit: 94f, feels like 107f here

I was just outside for a bit... quite comfortable here. I'd guess that with the heat index, it's 90ish. I think a lot of the heat indices are inflated these days... it seems that a lot of weather related forecasts are filled with more and more hype these days... hype sells.

In arlington its 93 feels like 96. A bit cooler then what we have been getting here.

Glad im not in houston right now. 88 feels like 96 🙂

LOL This is winter weather here. It's only 96. I'll chim in and complain whe nit hits 110.

I love it though, all the news stations and everyone complains that it's soooo hot it's never been this hot, yadda yadda. Hellow, we, I, live in Texas. Texas is hot. Texas has always been hot. Compared to last year, this is nothing.

Its 29C but feels like 38C here, or 84 feels like 100 for the American's.

I get by fine thanks to AC. Although I really don't want to go out later, even though I don't have a choice.

bunch of northern wussies...
this is Normal every single year for Texas...
I dont get what the big deal is myself..

I'm glad our heat wave finally passed. 113 for 2 days in a row, and 9 days over 100 was tough. Electric bill is gonna suck. Happily, I live in Kahleeforneeya, where even though it gets hot, we rarely have any high humidity. Anything over 30% is considered muggy here on a hot day. Not like much of the country/world deals with. I remember living in the rockies, wherre a dry hot day might only have 4-8% relative humidity...

Come up here and say that. Then I'll take your comment seriously.

I've been in Texas before and the summer is nothing compared to what we have here. Seriously, humidity makes heat 10x worse.

You don't get the 60-100% humidity with your heat like the northeast and midwest does.

Yeah, just another average day of summer heat here in Texas.
I don't enjoy it per se, but you do adapt, especially when you're living without AC.
Now two weeks ago, highs broke 100° for a whole week which is not so typical but still nothing shocking.

Shocking as it may seem, there's more to Texico than just Houston...
Lots of west Texico are dryer than a popcorn fart. Maybe that's his only point or reference, and didn't know there is more than one climate there...

Awww...you poor babies...having to walk from your air-conditioned house to an air-conditioned car to an air-conditioned office building and back again 🙁

Why, you might have to actually spend a whole ten minutes per day in temperatures that are almost triple digits :Q

then he shoulda asked before running his dumbass mouth right?
i just posted weather.com info in my OP..

Good lord, are you defensive or just have a small penis?

Yes, Houston and points east do have a bit higher average humidity and temps. But you do not have the near constant below freezing temps 4 months out of the year the north has. When accounting for body acclimation to temp variances, it's much harder for people in the north to deal with the heat.

I concur it is almost like Vietnam here!

Lack of A/C, especially in the north. Hell it's a problem in Texas too.
