So I can barely walk outside it's so hot outside and it's only 1pm.....supposed to get up to 97F and heat index 115-120....this is crazy heat. I'm planning on hitting up IKEA and then staying inside with the AC on and watch a cheesy action flick....The Rock comes to mind.....how's everyone else faring?
 
My truck said it was 92 when I went to lunch and 95 when I came back.

Although I must admit this is my favorite weather. 😱
 
It's cold in the office, I like.

My MP3 player overheated because I left it in the closed car too long... oops!
 
I'm staying indoors except for when I need to get in my car to leave work.
I hate when it gets more than like 80 F.

It's supposed to get up to 99 F here in the suburbs of Chicago today.



I am dirt cheap with the heat in the winter (keep it at 58 or 60), but in the summer, I crank the AC like there's no tomorrow. I hate excessive heat.
 
it is hot, but not as bad as i can remember a few years ago. AC is crankin here and its nice to be a girl at times like this because it is really comfortable wearing a sundress
 
AC in the office wasn't working, got sent home.

You think we're weak Ryan, psshhhhhhht can it. Your frail self would crumple and wither in the Windsor / Detroit humidity.

I'll take "WEAK" over certain other "conditions"...

In Trenton MI at 1:10 pm it's 88°F Feels Like 108°F and Humidity: 84%
 
I went out side and did a quick dance for some snow but it didn't show up. 🙁 I can't stand this weather. Ideal weather for a summer day is low 70 with a cool breeze and no humidity. Looks like we don't see a break until Thursday. augh...

Yea I'm coming out your way at the end of the week mcvickj, got a cottage just outside White Cloud/Newaygo and hoping the heat has broken by then because that house doesnt have AC 🙁
 
Supposed to hit 100 with heat indexes around 110-115 here in IL. Quite uncomfortable. Those in the arid parts of the SW (AZ, CA, ect) just don't quite understand what humidity does to you when it gets that warm.

I've done Phoenix summers...midwest summers are actually more miserable IMHO. And to make it worse...4 months from now we could easily be looking at sub zero temps with wind chills in the -30's.

Nothing like having a 100-110 degree temperate range in 4 months time. Yikes!
