Reading a lot of "the economy will absolutely be in a recession for 2024" takes when the same people can't predict what's going to happen weeks or months in advance in a very unusual economic situation. Though people thought we were in a recession months ago because gas prices went up.

I think the question is if the economy slows in the next couple years but prices come down how do voters perceive that?
