Reporting starting to come out that the House lawyers in trying to get the Mueller grand jury info assert they have reason to believe that Trump lied in his answers under oath and that such information is to be disclosed for the purposes of an impeachment investigation and could constitute an article of impeachment for obstruction.

Does anyone know if limiting the scope of the "impeachment inquiry" to the Ukraine issue alone means that this is the only issue they intend to impeach on? If so, I think it's a huge mistake.

My understanding is that there's 3 house committees investigating charges against Trump. Some of this predates the Ukraine report. I'm not quite sure which committees are doing what but I would imagine that the House Judiciary committee would be the main one for impeachment.
