around 110.. but the spedo was burried, 1972 chevelle bigblock. around 100 in a corvette too. the chevelle was pretty unstable at those speeds 🙂

I did 101 in my truck and bounced off the governor. She had more to give, was only at 4000 RPM. It felt like 80.

240-250 ish in a 2001 S class diesel benz in Germany on autobahn

Back in 88 used to drive an old ass audi, don't even remember model, around 190 everyday on autobahn

I just recently watched a ZR1 test vid in Germany on the autobahn, fuckin makes me envious not being able to do the same here 🙁 In Ontario we got a law now that if you do 50 over anywhere you get $ 10,000 fine, and your car impounded for 2 weeks 🙁

btw this is all in km/h not miles

If you were scared at 215 I don't think you'd be able to handle the ZR1 😉

I can't say I ever drove a car that was stock at high speeds over 120 or so...but when I did it was really nothing spectacular.

What kind of poll for your maximum speed only goes up to 100 MPH? And why the hell do you have all of those low speeds on there?

I got up to like 98 or 99 mph in my Honda Fit. I could probably have exceeded 100 but as sparse as the traffic was, there was still traffic and the amount of time it took to accelerate at all past about 85 mph didn't allow me to truly max it out.

I'll do it sometime. Probably hit the governor if I manage to get to 100.

Failboat son, be glad it sailed without you.

The low speeds were meant as a joke. 100+ so you can explain in the thread.

Got pulled over doing 220km/h (135) in a rental c class... diesel..

Lucky I had enough cash to get out of it! 😉

I got up to 95 mph in my 1996 ford escort once (this was in 2004).

driving on route 80 to see a friend out in the middle of PA and wasn't paying attention.

by and large, though, I try to either stay within 5-10 mph of the posted speed limit or just keep pace with however fast everyone else is moving.

LOL @ the 14 people that haven't gone over 80MPH. Do you people drive Yugos?
