How fast were you going when you got your ticket?

I was driving up I-5 towards Sacramento yesterday and I saw all these cars zoom past me, probably going 90-100 miles an hour. That got me thinking, how fast have you gone and in what car?

I don't think this is a Garage thread but if it is do what you will.

Fastest was 110 in a '67 Chrysler Newport convertible. Smooth as glass. Not on I-5. On I-5, I was lucky to get to 70 with California's stupid traffic laws.
 
Fastest I got stopped was 127 in my 66 Mustang GT.

Fastest I was going ever that my speedo read up to was around 145 in my 97 GTI VR6, there was a light rain at the time as well.
 
215 ish in a 99 eclipse GSX in Canada, it was scary...

240-250 ish in a 2001 S class diesel benz in Germany on autobahn

Back in 88 used to drive an old ass audi, don't even remember model, around 190 everyday on autobahn

I just recently watched a ZR1 test vid in Germany on the autobahn, fuckin makes me envious not being able to do the same here 🙁 In Ontario we got a law now that if you do 50 over anywhere you get $ 10,000 fine, and your car impounded for 2 weeks 🙁
