The head thing makes sense. Sylar does something to people's brain to absorb their power, implying that the brain is probably important to people's powers.

It's going to be a lame finale. How stupid is Peter if he has mind reading capabilities, that he has not read Adam's mind yet to reveal his true plans? Or that the woman who tried to kill them is actually a good person? Also, who do you all think is going to die next week? I sure hope the other twin is one of them. Everyone introduced this season should die. Lame season ending. And even if two people die next episode, it is established now that all it takes is Claire or Adam's blood to bring them back to life. Lamer. I wonder what the writers original plans were for the African American girl and the twins. The way Alejandro went out was the lamest way to go. It would have been better if Alejandro had healing powers and was the hero who saved the world by healing whoever catches the virus. If the twins are just going to die and give Syler their powers, then that was such a waste of air time the past few weeks. Man how I hate the twins. This season is so frustrating, especially the last few episodes. They make a good episode and get my hopes up only to let me down by following it up with a terrible episode and then once again a good episode and then like this week, crap episode. If the streak continues, maybe next week will be good. I hope at least a bad guy dies for good this time.

This is the thing that has been most frustrating to me. I suppose you can just assume that since Peter can't completely control his powers (ie time traveling and it seems mind reading) he isn't able to get into Adam's head. If so, that's still a really lame cop out - oh, and it seems he doesn't have any problem controlling lightning.

So was this season originally written like this to wrap up half way though and then move on with a new plot for the second half of the season and now it's just being cut short because of the strike, or what? Basically, was season two always supposed to be II (Generations) and III (Exodus)?

The first season was the same way "save the cheerleader save the world" was the first half the second was the bomb. This season was Adam as the focus of the first half then the virus.

Because of this, wrapping up the season short will really hurt the story.

So they've forced all 24 eps into this half a season? Rather than it being 12 Adam 12 Virus it was like 6/6 or 5/5 (forget how many have aired)? If so, I suppose that explains why things seemed a bit rushed at times. It's funny, this strike has really just destroyed the work the artists claim they care so much about.

Actually it's worse than that because they didn't plan on the strike. The first half was written, shot, and being shown when they realized they'd have to end it soon. So if anything it's most of the first half of the season in it's normal time, and the end of the first half+second half all crammed into a couple episodes (not sure how many they altered after the strike, it may just be the finale show).

Yes, I thought that was clear. Other Heroes learn about their power to a great extent, but Peter has all these different powers and he barely has control of them because there are so many.

i dont understand why she didnt just run out the top floor of the house. all the guys entered through the front door. all she had to do was wait for the last guy to enter and run out the top level.
