His father told him he accepted his fate and Hiro learned why he shouldn't change that.

Killing Adam then would have. I am sure Hiro will do so later.

Not many people in the world can really carry out what they 'think' they'd do.

Just pointing out that the inconsistency that 1 falls at a low distance resulted in blood and when 2 fell from a much higher distance only evidence of blood from 1.

To paraphrase, Hiro's dad mentioned something along the lines of "even though we have the power of gods, does not mean we need to act like them"...

Something to that extent, and if I'm not mistaken, he was referring to Hiro stopping his Killer.

 
So Claire and Adam's blood essentially lets them live forever and can also be used to bring back a person from the dead. If someone drinks their blood on a repeated basis, does this mean that person also would live "forever?" Reminiscent of Elizabeth Báthory, sans the beautiful peasant virgins.

The show isn't over, we only know that Hiro must let his father die... or rather, his father convinced him it needs to be that way. He never said don't get revenge.. which I'm sure he'll try.. but probably won't go through with it for some nobility reason or something.

Yeah..fker is dying somehow. Hiro was the better man...asshat decided that wasn't enough.

All Hiro needed to do was go to the time prior to Adam's conception/gain of power and end it. He still idolized the guy until that moment of discovery.

To clarify I've no problem with Hiro allowing his dad to die as per their graveyard/rooftop conversation. I was merely pointing out that once his dad's fate was sealed, Hiro had an opportunity to confront or avenge his father's killer, but he let it pass. (If he had snatched Adam from mid air and they transported elsewhere, this would have the minor virtue of explaining why his blood was nowhere on the ground.) Of course from a TV point of view the shock of discovering his dad's killer was enough for the scene - the confrontation or fight could wait a week later.

Throwing a monkey wrench in the timeline! That means Hiro saves his dad, something they agreed he shouldn't do.

If he does kill Adam in the past, Hiro would get to portray his childhood hero. Writers would need to solve the appearance of 2 Hiros in ole Japan, one pretending to be K. And the future timeline would be much different.

I believe he has a 'teaching' power, or at least that has been hinted at given how quickly Hiro became a swordsman.

Seems the elders wish to be more secretive with their powers which they may have a reason for.

Also Hiro going back to kill Adam would just mess up a LOT of things in the entire timeline/world. Plus they would have wasted all this time with Hiro in Japan getting Adam to do these tasks. I honestly can't see the writers sending him back for this. I suspect a bigger showdown between the two will take place.
