Just watched this on the dvr last night. Please, please, PLEASE let Maya be one of the "heroes" that dies. She's worse than Nikki/Jessica from last season, I can't stand her character. Sylar is getting rather annoying too.

I don't think anyone would complain if they killed off Maya + Nikki. And then Micah could go be a superhero with his iPod-toting cousin!

Um, there shouldn't be any need for special effects. Her power allows her to mimic the muscle movements of other people. She can't do anything she isn't physically capable of. So what need for special effects was there, its not like she can fly or anything, all she can do is copy a gymnast/pianist/boxer/etc by sight.

Okay, so stunts, not special effects. Same idea still stands: they should have come up with something more interesting than those three moves I described.

Stick with the Matrix then...

Oh, right, because people people watch Heroes for the great plot!

I do for the storyline. It's not the special effects and eyecandy that stimulates me.

So as I said stick to blockbuster films if you want Crotching Tiger/Hidden Dragon stuff. Personally I prefer the Heroes are very limited in their abilities and even with them were not born with supernatural knowledge of martial arts and how to even use their powers fully.

This makes a show believable to me and at the same time entertaining.

Wow, the episode pretty much redeemed the season by itself. Possibly because there was no...

ALEJANDROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

ALEJANDROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

ALEJANDROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I'm gonna go ahead and say the greatest scene this season so far is when Alejandro got stabbed.

Gah, finally watched it on dvr. Sylar/Maya fucking killed the pacing of the show. Everytime they got facetime it was a snoozefest. So glad Alejandro's gone.

If it weren't for Sylar/Maya, it would've been an OK episode. The last 2 pretty much redeemed the season, but this one was meh. Hopefully the finale is good.

I thought Peter could only access one power at a time?
When he tried to access his lightning power, he should have automatically been frozeon in time for Hiro to chop his head off.

I've never gotten that impression...

Why would you think that? 😕

Peter has only been limited to one power by viewers that casually watch. He is supposed to be the ultimate 'Hero', unfortunately that power was given to an Emo.

I thought in the flashback where he asked his brother to carry him off before he exploded, he said something that implied he couldn't fly while he was going nuclear?
Did I mishear the line? not sure.

i imagine it's hard to fly when you're about to blow up

his line was more that 'he couldn't control it much longer', he probably could have flown just fine if is didn't care about blowing up NYC.

Is it just me, or did most of the characters just become huge dumbasses this season.
Not dumbasses, just very inconsistent.
No, dumbasses.

Peter: he never tries to use his powers beyond the MOST obvious situations. He could read that lady's mind easily, but hasn't thought to read Adam or Hiros mind? Dumbass.

Suresh: He's just an idiot. Period. Dumbass

Parkman: He's a bumbling twat, he's daddy's dumbasses little boy and then followed in daddy's footsteps by mind raping Angela. Dumbass

Nikki: Duuuurrrrrr... i'm going to work for the company that ALL my friends acknowledge is evil. Dumbass

Hiro: He see's Adam killing his dad, decides he needs to kill him.... but doesn't do it then. Hiro is my favorite character, but he's still... a Dumbass

HRG: He didn't kill bob/elle when he had the chance, then he sees he's in the situation where he's going to be killed, and does almost nothing. Dumbass

Claire: At least she finally got some balls. But still... Dumbass

Black chick: Something falling out of your pocket while you're hiding on the roof? C'mon, bad writing and dumb character. Dumbass

Sylar is the only one who isn't a complete dumbass.
Don't have a real problem with the new Heroes and teenagers doing stupid things (although you'd think the Black girl would exit the way she came instead of taking the way the bad guys came in) because they are young and inexperienced, but too many of the adults are plain lame.

Bob is one of the last or last remaining members of the Company but he goes out on field ops and does badly. And as a field agents he's not. He dropped the Bennet name by accident. By all rights he Moh and Elle should or could've easily died. The Bennet family should've left town that night after the kidnapping of Claire and 'murder of Noah' but they hang around and let Bob in the house. Bob alone once enters the home of the family, one of whom he's kidnapped and presents an urn of ashes of the Noah who's death he's responsible for. Who cremates on short notice and why should he think the Bennet family would believe him?

Peter doesn't read Adam's mind and Hiro doesn't take him on a time tour before attacking him.

Show is on for you East Coasters!

This season was so painfully slow. The only thing going for it this season was the painfully lame shows running in the same time slot.

Just a thought on that: Adam seems quite aware of what Peter is capable of and he has been around for 400 years. He may have learned a trick or two in masquerading his thoughts.

God what a stupid characters, the twins i mean. and so pointless. their respective deaths were both stupid and their overall roles were sooo stupid.

YUP. Their total impact on the entire storyline/plot was nil.

Totally worthless.

I agree they were pointless. Maybe if they did a full 22 episode season, they could have had a better story written for them. But with it being so short, it was pointless having them.
