You can find a 6950 1gb for 223$ after mail in rebate, on newegg.

70$ more expensive?
Are you saying that there are factory overclocked 560's for ~153$ or so?
( 223$ - 70$ = 153$ )
Kinda silly comparing a 6950 1gb to a gtx560. The gtx 560 ti is more in that price range. The gtx 560 ti
factory overclocked Evga gtx560 ti for 214$ AR.

The 194$ gtx560 is more in line with the 185$ 6870. Slightly faster for slightly more money, but when both the 6870 and gtx560 are overclocked the 6870 losses out even more.
