This was after Malaria's bullshit tweet claiming someone attacked her son. Gonna speak up Miss BeBest??
So much for the Trump licker's excuse, "Oh he's just a counter puncher"

I’m old enough to remember when even speaking Barron Trump’s name was unacceptable. Surely republicans will be up in arms about this.
Don't want to piss off China tho... Maybe the person of the year should have been El Presidente Xi for managing to strong arm the west into a sort of soft compliance with Chinese censorship.
Another idea would have been another "ideal" person: The Whistleblower. People with that kind of moral core, that are willing to put a target on their back to make sure that whats hidden sees light, I honestly don't know how they do it.
Oh come on, you should at least own the dishonesty. That's just the cowardly way out.
The messenger is never good enough for people. And in this case, instead of taking action to alleviate the effects of climate change, we're quibbling about the mascot.I still think Greta is the wrong messenger and sort of irritating but this applies to what you said

Just saying there is a question of who is the "whistleblower".
Can you tell me without a doubt?

People have asked. Why is it relevant?Just saying there is a question of who is the "whistleblower".

I think he got it from reading your stuff in this thread. You are moving in on flatearth space.Where the fuck did you get that idea from?
Should have been the whistleblower.
Adam Schiff?

The whole Greta thing has a pretty good meta-commentary associated with it too. You can actually pick out the people that are the problem rather than the solution by just identifying who has more interest in attacking her as a person/mascot rather than understanding that the message was the whole point of it. They will never listen to the message, and never agree to what needs to be done. The messenger is never good enough for people. Honestly, I'd rather alienate you that grow old knowing that I'll likely witness the apocalypse."If you're not with us then you're against us!11one!!!"
Great logic there - you guys are definitely not going to alienate yourselves.

I have to say, BdB is so out of touch with his choice quote in his tweet:
Newsflash BdB - you're part of the problem - people that talk big, but do jack shit (or even stand in the way of progress).
HK's extreme income inequality actually results in less freedom. Have fun living in a tiny shared apartment if you're not well off.
I asked was it Adam Schiff as he is so adamant in hiding the identity...
Yeah... 20 years from now when a giant climate change induced tidal wave turns New York City into a swamp, people can proudly hold up their soaked copies of Time magazine from 2019 and scream "WE TOLD YOU SO!". Because, as we all know, that's WAY more effective than coming up with actual solutions to the climate change problem or at least building a damn flood wall to protect the city.

People have come up with solutions, nobody wants to implement them because they're too expensive/require too much change/climate change isn't a thing. So we continue to make the rounds of 'climate change is a thing!' 'great, how do we fix it' 'do these things!' 'nope' 'climate change is a thing and is now getting worse!' ...ad infinitum.Yeah... 20 years from now when a giant climate change induced tidal wave turns New York City into a swamp, people can proudly hold up their soaked copies of Time magazine from 2019 and scream "WE TOLD YOU SO!". Your solution besides bitching about a teenage girl is?
AgreedAlso, stuff like what Greta is doing is probably by far the most effective thing she could be doing with her time. Planting trees is pointless, building some section of wall is a waste of time.
We need massive action on a national and global scale. The political action is the most important action.
You do understand there is an actual law that requires the identify to be protected don't you?
