All I saw was a tremendous lot of talent on that stage. To bad they are all brain defective

Dude - how crazy would it be if some of them just said "I have these ideas I share with you, but we need to work with others in order to make the nation stronger."

/that used to be the way we worked - was never perfect by any means, but we did it....
//overall, now it's total pandering to the shrinking loyal base...

How can anyone say anything bad about Kasich after this debate? I think he's the only honorable, fully sane man up there.

I've only seen small clips of him and he's never come off bad to me. That being said, what's his record as governor?

I thought I heard that kasic said something similar.

To all the people praising Kasich, have you forgotten Lehman Brothers already? Hey, maybe when his foreign and domestic policies bite the dust, we can get them to bail out the government? Yeah, that has the same chance as Kasich getting the nomination.

Best presidential primary debate I've seen for... ever?

FOX moderators jumped straight into the candidate's shit with questions that made even me squirm. Any other moderators would have been lambasted as biased and pro-democrat, so they were able to get away with tough questions that nobody else could have asked. The first question of the night, which exposed Trump, set the tone.

Rubio, Bush, and Kasich came out on top. Everyone else was either terrible or a non-factor.

I'll speak for myself - Kashich came off as the less insane of the lot. However, insantiy is like gravity - all it takes is a little push...

"Gravy!!!?!!"

"No Chris - Gravtiy - not Gravy."

Scorecard:

Winners:
Trump: clumsy fox hatchet job, will further divide skeptics and supporters. Will survive
Kasich: the sane one. Looked strong for hometown crowd. Looks moderate (uh oh. Huntsman 2012!)
Christie: spark of life finally. Owned Paul. Draw with Huck.
Rubio: surpassed bush. Young and dynamic, not too nuts

Meh:

Bush: boring, flat, rambling. Bad for the heir apparent
Huck: played in crazytown a bit, but also had some good moments
Walker: boring and weird. Rape babies? Going there again GOP? Sad for #3 guy
Cruz: actually terrible, but true to form. No change in polling

Losers:

Paul: so much for that libertarian thing. Just looked like bloviating hack. Done for
Carson: wtf man.

Why should we spoil your progressive circle jerk? Looks like your having fun with each other. Maybe get a room.

Break the jerk, Jerk. Did any of these folks running for the GOP nom speak to you?

If you can't address their views that align with yours, then just stop....

Wow, God played a big role. Hmmm. And Ted Cruz wants to "persecute" religious liberty (I think he meant to say "prostitute").

Speaking of which, what's with the advertising during the debate (I missed the previous Fox ones)? Are we just accepting that everything and everyone is "bought" anymore?

I take back what I've said about Trump's chances; he keeps bragging about bribing politicians. He might be indicted before election day.

I really didn't like how FOX attempted to sway things in the direction of their agenda via questions asked and comments made. I guess Murdoch wants to be King Maker and de facto head of the Repub Party.

Better to have had a neutral party that asked the same critically important questions to each candidate and let the chips fall where they may.

For that reason, I call the whole debate null and void due to it being contaminated with outside influence from FOX that was biased and leading.

As an aside, I can't wait to see how this debate has affected Trump's popularity rating. IMO, that's the only thing of interest that came out of this sham of a debate. I really feel like this "debate" helped Trump more than it hurt him.

I hope the Dems can put together something a little more legitimate.

That's what people love these days. Sensationalist titles, 140 characters on Twitter, quips and zingers.

Meanwhile Paul was disappointing. He seems to have like 2 issues going for him and that's it which is the surveillance issue and balancing the budget. I don't doubt both are important, but it sounds like he's unable to speak on any other issue well.

The way the debate was structured to create controversy and excitement via how the questions were framed, FOX should've had Jerry Springer as moderator. He would have fit the format perfectly. 😉

Go back to your regressive bubble then. You can chime in any time. I think you are just butt hurt that for the most part, they all come off one a little crazier than the next and all very unelectable.

Proof that there are some things even Jerry Springer won't do.

The thing with Rubio, sure maybe he made some progress within this debate format, this time, but as so many before him have done, next time Rubio might crash and burn.
And people will ask "what the hell happened to Rubio tonight?".
"Last time he was so much on point, and then ???? Ka-Boom".

If Rubio survives and Trump survives down to five or six, THEN we will see what they are truly made of.
Think of this as your first date.
You go home afterwards believing you made A GREAT impression.
Then... next date you piss her off, throw up on her new dress, and while backing out of her driveway in disgrace you run over her cat.

What comes to mind for me with Rubio is that weird sneaky look he made when Rubio gave that state if the union rebuttal back when.
That weird sneaky look on his face as he took a swig of bottled water.
No.... Rubio is definitely NOT presidential material.
This debate wasn't a test. It was a joke.

The bottom line is, what do they "believe" and what are their policy goals?
All of which they all, every single one of them, have in common.
Which are anti middle class and stuck back in the 1950's.
