Every 4 years I get to watch the republican primary for the LULZ and I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. This is my reality TV.

I don't get that impression as much from Cruz. I think he believes he is a good guy. Walker just comes off as a car salesman to me, like he is just saying shit he knows is bullshit.

Really? Whenever I see him speak, he pauses, crooks his head, sets up his douche face, and goes into pompous jackass mode.

All I get is used car salesman, greasy hair and all.

Walker is pretty bad too tho... Maybe new car salesman ;)

This is what I predict;
- Trump is dominating, I mean, the rest of the candidates are cowering in the corner or behind the podiums, just weeping and crapping all over themselves. Just piles of quivering messes.
- Trump is roaring like a lion. It looks like he is actually getting younger.
- Then, right after Trump is done singing the national anthem, the ceiling explodes,... it's Vladimir Putin, propelling down onto the stage via rope from a Hind with a sack on his shoulder. Oh, and he is shirtless.
- Putin drops the sack on the floor and says; "Mr. Trump, I believe this belongs to you."
- Putin kicks the sack open and its Barak HUSSEIN Obama, tied up, crying and soaked in his own urine.
- Trump then pats Putin on the back and says; "Thank you, my friend."
- Trump then calls the police and has Obama arrested.
- The crowd, and all of America begin to celebrate, because the 7 years of tyranny have finally ended.
- Putin climbs back up to the Hind (with one hand) as he carries the American flag and a tear running down his cheek,.. a tear of joy and happiness, no doubt.
- Trump is then carried out of the debate and into the White House
- Obama has rotten tomatoes and bricks thrown at him as he is carried off to a boat that will bring him back to Islam.
- Trump then leads America into an endless age of peace and prosperity, where America is #1 forever
- All the Democrats and Liberals and Feminists die due to America being so happy

If you ever want to see what sheer contempt Republican elites hold their constituents in, this was a pretty great example.

I have not laughed this much at a political event in a long time.

I don't find it funny that Hillary has run up an $18T debt. She must be stopped.

Yet he gets huge applause because "those ebil progressives"

I can't understand why ppl support him and why he's here. I get the red meat part, but he's so horrible at it.

IDK, hard to imagine he's in the top 10, but the longest serving Texas gov is not

What's so funny?

The candidates are selling bullshit wrapped in $100 bills provided by their billionaire benefactors. But that's not the funniest part. The funniest part is all of the applause they're getting even after the crowd receives these pander party favors, opens the wrappers and stuff their faces with the contents. ;)

When did she do that? Is that what she's been doing with her married lesbian lover?

Lets look at the over-all.
For me, going by the debate, it seems republicans are divided into four groups.
#1, the party loyal that like Jeb,
#2, the religious right that only is concerned with abortion and marriage,
#3, the angry side that loves Donald Trump,
#4, all the rest.

The anger is apparent from one group towards the other.
The first question in the debate asking that candidates take the oath of commitment proved the division quite clear and quite intense.

From this, it looks like the 2016 election will make one of the four groups very happy, and the other three groups very pissed, and the three losers will probably stay home.
And not only will this allow Hillary to stroll into the whitehouse, but if not Hillary then Biden or even Sanders.

I think the days of republicans coming together to support the end result has indeed come to an end BIG TIME.
And Trump?
Plan on a third party run from Donald.
Fox is doing the bidding of the GOP with this clown car of a debate in attempts to kill off Donald Trump. That has been quite clear and you have to wonder the conversation between Fox news and Reince Priebus, in private, before this debate.
I can assure you, there was indeed such a conversation solely targeting Donald Trump.
You know it, I know it. Donald knows it.
While many republican leaders, when on camera play down Trump, you know the leadership of the GOP is absolutely freaking out over the very thought of Donald Trump at the GOP convention as the front runner.
Reince Priebus is freaking out. Not in public or with his public comments, but behind the scene Reince Priebus is absolutely crazy nutz freaking out over Donald Trump.

But who cares?
The republican party is clearly highly divided as a national political party.
This is not the party of Ronald Reagan by no means.
The whole problem with the republican party is they have become out of touch with modern day America.
The republicans have allowed the religious right to hijack a huge chunk of the party, and the tea baggers to hijack another huge chunk, and the Ronald Reagan conservatives are left somewhere in between and out in the cold.

Luckily, for humanity and more so a nation as America which was founded on equality and justice for all, history marches forward. Never backwards.
Too many republicans simply refuse to march forward.
And that goes against nature itself, and thus they will always lose in the end.
Sure, they will be pissed and stomping mad, but still the losers.

People want God in their church. NOT (and take note republicans) NOT in their politics!!!!!!
And I just want to shout out a BIG thank you to Donald Trump. ;)

PS. I have to ask.
Have these republican candidates received the memo that Obama IS NOT running this election?
I mean, WTF?
If republicans cannot figure out who they are running against, how would they know how to run ANY country on earth?

I can't wait for the transcript on this, I value my liver to much to drink enough to make this watchable.

I can only imagine how much the bigwigs in the party regret making the tea party and riling up the base to this point. I bet it sounded like a good idea at the time.

Why does the audience get such a loud voice in this debate? It wreaks havoc with any wisp of objectivity. I feel like I'm watching the combination of a high school assembly and a reality show.

I really miss the league of Women Voters' debates when the discourse was civil before the greenback ruled every aspect of politics.

Shhh. I'm starting it back up (I was making dinner).
