As a side note the GOP is furnishing the press with some crazy bad footage of the police literally dragging very handicapped people out of the capital. Not exactly going to be winning hearts and minds.

How generous of them to write every democratic campaign commercial for next year.

"Sorry kid, those assholes in there would have my job if I didn't kick you out, and then I'D lose healthcare too!"

In other news Sen. Ron Johnson wants to combine healthcare with the upcoming tax "reform" push under reconciliation rules.

When one fails to juggle oranges I guess the next logical step should be to juggle hand grenades with loose pins.

The CBO report is about as expected. Millions will lose coverage. So many variables since it depends on what states do. Come 2026 everyone is fucked since the block grants vanish.

They will keep going at it. Never belive otherwise.

I never pretended otherwise. That said, the GOP sacks of shit are trying to get this bill voted on before the end of the month. Hopefully, they won't succeed on their vote on Saturday.

Even so, that's not going to stop them from sabotaging the ACA at any cost.

At this point...this is how I can summarize the last nine months....

Yup, and it seems like this is going to continue indefinitely. Now, instead of passing horrible bills that they know the president is not going to sign, they debate horrible bills that the president WOULD sign, and rely on a few senators to kill it.

The Senate GOP is supposed to decide today to either give up and not have a vote or to force a vote that will fail. Obviously the considerations are merely optical at this point since the actual result is the same.

I'm so hoping they try to tack a new effort on to tax "reform".

Or they could start working on help for Puerto Rico and USVI.
