Same, many days of keeping me mostly sane.Man this hit me hard. I've read this site daily for as long as I can remember. It's a part of my routine. A lot has changed in 20+ years.
Thanks for being part of the good times!

It's weird that you switch between the French and Spanish depending on it its the seed or plant!
You can thank pr0n for driving relentless technology advancement.we went from a 170 MB hard drive on the first one to a 420 MB on the next machine and the difference was amazing
i remember thinking "i'll never run out of this much hard drive space!"![]()
Lurker! Mine!I can't believe I've been on this site for 25 years next month. It was a good run. This site was a trailblazer in many ways.
People are coming out of the woodwork.
Except for Anand. I imagine him reacting to the news with an audible sigh while shrugging his shoulders. Followed by a quick glance of his investment portfolio with the bulk of it being from the sale of this site to Purch.
I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once.Nothing good lasts forever.
Sorry, sucka, just me, myself and I.
The last time I tried Ads was about the same. Slow loads, Ads covering Posts, and other things. As a mod I get an ad free experience without an ad blocker. So I took one for the team, visited in another browser I have never logged in from, turned off ad blocking, and clicked through on some ads.

Wasn't there a minute where you could pay a subscription to AT to bypass the ads?Someone should tell the advertisers the ads would be far more effective here if they just said "click here to save the AT forums"
Quite something else to see the end of their reviews. The article they wrote up quickly got passed around in my AT circles.
Anyone know if Anand commented on this at all? The article gave him a lot of (deserved) credit and I was glad to see that.
