Fukishima is working again

Doesn't sound like it's a major issue, but I'm certainly not an expert on such things. TEPCO lost just about all credibility though, so if they come out and say everything is fine, nobody believes them.

You have personally caused more cancer deaths due to your fear-mongering than any of the release caused by Fukushima.
 
Here is my technical opinion. The article does not specify what isotope of xenon they detected. There are several stable xenon isotopes produced by fission. Their release and detection would not be an indicator of criticality, nor are they hazardous.
 
Keep buying into lies people, the guy in the video is no hack, but the expert who decommissions plants.

I wish it was fearmongering actually.

You have any idea what all this Iodine-131 does to childrens thyroid glands? Or do they not discuss this in Apologist 101?

Strontium 90 in Tokyo playgrounds, but yeah, Leukemia is just fearmongering.

It plainly says Iodine 131 which has too short a half-life to be laying around since March.

Xenon gas is the same deal in aerosol form (with a shorter half-life)

TEPCO guys are not going to do a special boron injection for any old Xenon,

Here we are just a few post in and the apologists start lying and BSing/spinning.

The rumor from Fuku workers on twitter that the "new" element popping up lately along with Xenon 133 is Curium-244 possibly -242.

You think that picture "plainly says I-131"? You really are hallucinating. All I see is what looks like a blank form with a title written in Japanese.

As I stated earlier, there is no need to inject boron for old xenon. Old xenon means stable xenon, produced while the plant was operating. Cm-244 and 242 are transuranics with longer half lives and do not indicate criticality either.

Not a single person has died or will ever die from radiation from Fukushima. However I do believe I read at least 1 person died in a car accident trying to flee the area during the event. Fear mongering causes more death than the subject of the fear itself.
 
There are news articles that say traces of Xe-133 and 135 were detected in the reactor vessel. It does not say in what amount. Even when the reactor is shut down, there are still some fissions taking place due to decay neutrons, which could cause trace amounts of Xe or I to be detected.

If a re-criticality did in fact occur, it was in such a small amount to not have caused any detectable increase in radiation, fission product release, or heat generation. It certainly re-opens the question of what the condition of the reactor actually is and if it is severely compromised and capable of criticality that is still problematic.

Childrens shoes covered in Cesium 134/137 WILL have consequences.

Children are already found to have high levels of Iodine 131 in their pee.

Young adults randomly dropping dead of pulmonary related conditions are symptom #1 of cesium in heart tissue of adults.

There are already dark rumors of back-room abortions in droves across northern japan thanks to brains growing of eyesockets because of neurological damage in the womb.

You have a lot to learn about the current situation and the realities of nuclear power on the human body.

This right here is what is killing the Japanese future. Denial of reality. And a bit of cultural racism on the Japanese's part (they consider anyone exposed to radiation "dirty" and "lower class".

Between GE/USA covering their asses and TEPCO/Japan Government the whole of northern Japan becomes a non-mans land slowly.

But yes, the real consequences take years, I am sure in 10 years you apologists will attribute the leukemia to something else, this is always the way it always conviently works with anything nuke/health related.

i-131 has a half life of about 8 days. It has been well over 10 half-lives therefore it is said to be gone by most standards. so how exactly are they worried about it now?

Because the detection of it has not ceased, doubly alarming is it coming from the childrens bodies of the surrounding communities.

The reactors fuel are in full china syndrome mode now burrowing into the groundwater level as we speak still reacting.*

Hence the reports of steam vents coming up from the ground overnight with enormously high readings like only found in Chernobyl.

*No one on the face of the planet knows for sure what the Corium is up to, (it is the most dangerous place on earth under those buildings!) but it is obvious that once it left the pressure vessel, there is only one direction the literal reacting lava (corium) will go. Down (and into the pacific and Northern Japan's water table)

3 Cores on the Floor is probably not even accurate for Fukushima anymore, all 3 corium formations only had 6 feet of concrete to go through to leave the reactor buildings foundations after exiting their drywells under the actual compromised PCV. (pressure containment vessel)



I hope that the corium did like Cherynobyl and spooged through many individual steam pipes and spread itself out into individual hot corium blobs, because it massing together in one big blob pooping out under the reactor building is not good. (keeps the reaction going/harder to cool with water from above also)

The big problem is that there are 3 reactors with individual corium blobs, any of them may have done different things. One thing is for sure, this is a all new challenge for humanity to overcome. Is it worth it?

At this point I can't tell if you're sarcastic or not. You do realize it takes years to decades for any damage to DNA via ionizing radiation to actually manifest itself, right?
