Yeah, but if someone takes an entire 360 degree rotation to the right and squeezes it into 90 degrees to the right, you're going to have some problems with having a proper translation. Also, why the heck was my wheel turning by itself toward the other direction... yes wheels become harder to turn if you're trying to "force" your car through a turn... but my car is not Herbie and does not turn by itself.

ps, i tried the colin mcrae dirt demo, and have to say its even harder to control the car with the wheel. when i mean hard i mean virtually impossible. anyone else found this?
DiRT was practically impossible and worse than Forza was for me. My car literally went all the way to the left or all the way to the right when trying to turn a tiny bit.

hej, i quite like the paddle shift thingy. i think they should implement that system on every car, in the real world...taking one hand off the steering wheel to change gear with a stick isnt 100% safe. yes? no? its also alot easier.
I hate it... I can't stand having to go from 6 through to 1 just because I go from 80 to 0. Technically, you can just go straight from 6 to 1 in one quick shift. My (real) car has a similar system, although I have a normal automatic-like shifter system ( as you can see here: http://www.aikouka.com/DSC00027.JPG ), but if I'm in Drive and I push it to the left, I can shift my car by pushing the shifter up or down. This is a little better than the paddle system to me, as I still feel like I'm shifting a car. I'm too used to using a standard shifter.
