i play on the hardest setting, no TCS or stability or ABS, manual gears..... its really not bad once you teach your left trigger finger not to pummel the brake button at every corner else you go off, wheels locked, into the nearest wall. makes a little more interesting too because the computer is much better than me at late braking, so it spices things up alot trying to defend the lead.
also without TCS i think practically any RWD with a decent handful of power and untuned suspension becomes a nightmare.....does anyone have any concise links to how to set suspension up? im not after fine tuning, i just need basic information to cure some bad handling.
i think doing the big weight reduction also fluffs things up as well...it might make your car accelerate quicker, but the reduced weight isnt taken lightly by the current suspension setup!
ie a guide that just says " excessive oversteer? - adjust this, this and this and put some rear wing on..."
apparently this game rocks hard with the racing wheel, i think i might buy one
hey jeff, where do you go to adjust the analog sticks? i hate how twitchy mine are, its almost impossible to drive smoothly unless your on the brink of losing traction.
