Do you have a 50k+ year job for me right now deary? No? Then shut up. Moving out is only practical for those who have the financial resources to do such. THIS IS WHY I AM GOING TO COLLEGE... SO I CAN GET A JOB THAT ALLOWS ME TO GET OUT.

Then do what the rest of us did and take out some fucking loans and/or get a job and put yourself through school and get a place to live. Your problems are self created and you sound like you expect some kind of handout in life. Grow the fuck up and deal with it. You have no idea what hardship is.

He was supposed to move out like this month or next month, but now... NEVER. ...LIVES WITH HIS PARENTS(26 YEARS OLD),

Um... so what you're saying is, he's living in the same house as YOU?

And why are you staying there?

I thought you lived in your mom's basement...therefore you have no life.

As I remember from previous threads, you don't work, you weren't going to school, you had no drive or motivation to improve yourself...why do you believe you're entitled to "a life?"

why the fuck are you complaining about your brother living at home?

if you are living at home, suck it the fuck up and finish college and GTFO.

if you can't suck it up, GTFO now and work to support yourself

I(22) live at home while I am going to univ, my sister(24) is a deadbeat, finished her program but isn't getting a job and is just doing nothing. I also work to pay for my school

EDIT: i got over complaining about my sister being a mooch (she doesn't help pay for anything regarding her school, or the household even though I have and pay for my school) because its a waste of time

Really? That's it? Things could suck a lot worse, be thankful if this is what sucks most for you.

Oh...and dry your eyes princess, things will get better.

This. Do you have a terminal illness? Are you out on the streets raiding dumpsters for food? Are you in jail for the rest of your life for something you didn't do?

We can all find things to cry about, but unless you're really at a low point, then you should just suck it up and make the best of it. As others have said, you definitely have some growing up to do. If you hate the situation that much, then move out. You might need $50k to move out to a nice place by yourself, but as others have already mentioned that's obviously not only option. If you hate being around your family so much, then transfer to a college with a low cost of living. In my area (a college town) you can rent a big, crappy house with 3 roommates for $400/month TOTAL ($100/month/person). I'm pretty sure you could afford that working at McDonald's.

BTW just for kicks, here's what I could cry about. My mom died of cancer when I was 15 (she was 50). Totally messed up my life at that time, and I'm still feeling repercussions (I'm 28). I have an 9mo son, but I only see him for about 20 minutes every morning. I work 8 hours per day at my job and then remodel a house for 4-5 hours every night and all day on the weekends. I've been doing this for several months and missed much of early life. I've got financial problems up the wazoo and basically nothing's going to work financially until I sell the house I'm remodeling. I was stupid and took out a 100% LTV HEL and will probably break even when selling it even though I put countless hours and thousands of dollars into it.

Maybe I should post all this on the internet with lots of F--- words and say how much worse my life is than everyone elses. I certainly get down at times, but I do the best I can with the situation, and I'm working hard to change the things I don't like about my situation. I recommend that you do the same thing with your situation, which certainly sounds like the situation of a spoiled child who doesn't like how his mommy and daddy are treating him while giving him a rent-free place to live. I know plenty of college students who go to school full time and work full time (heck, I did that for years) and have a few roommates in a big rental house. It certainly can be done, so either do that and change your situation, or admit that you're choosing to stay in your situation because it's the easy thing to do.

look into Stuart Smalley's daily affirmations.

i'm not even joking. well sort of but check it out

Stuart is a smart son of a bitch, he knows that no matter how FAIL his life is, positive self talk can pwn his self-conscious into bitchslapping the whiny emo act into shape.

so i don't wanna see any more whining here. grab your fucking life by the ass, no one else is going to do it for you.

and if you can't even do that, remember that at the very least you have a roof over your head and a computer to surf the intertubes on. you're obviously healthy enough for rational thought and freedom of choice, you choose to post on ATOT. you even have Froot Loops for Christ's sake........ what the fuck more do you need.........

/slaps OP with a rather large box of Froot Loops

suck it up

Would you like some cheese with your whine? It's really getting annoying, Trident. Just watch To Catch a Predator. It always makes me feel better about myself when I'm down.

Edit: And if you really hate your situation that much, change it. I know several people (including a roommate and someone else I consider a good friend) who work full time and go to college full time. Or you can take out student loans to live on and work part time to help pay them off - I know people who do this too. Personally, I'm lucky - my parents are paying for college. But I know plenty of people to know that you can do what you want if you're willing.

Not possible. My brother is not moving out, FUCKING EVER. Such a fucking loser, god.. If you guys seriously thought I was a loser, you have not met him. He now has a BULLSHIT PLAN of going TO MY FUCKING COLLEGE. >_< FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK. If only I didn't go to an super easy to get into CC. >_< He was supposed to move out like this month or next month, but now... NEVER. His soon to be ex wife is moving out soon though. Fucking great, I hate her too. She's just as bad.

Little bio of my bro: (And fuck, he's only a half brother, fathers side) Complete moron(Seriously, he dropped out of HS and shit at some points and... he just makes the dumbest decisions), lives off unemployment, is now getting a divorce(His wife sucks and plenty of us do not like her... He's only been with her for like <2 years), LIVES WITH HIS PARENTS(26 YEARS OLD), WITH HIS SOON TO BE EXWIFE(YEAH...), fat, slob, lazy, spends his unemployment checks on: New Rims and tires for his truck that he got because my dad helped him get it(Check!), Android G1(Check! That includes a contract! So, DOUBLE CHECK!), fucking mini-refrigerator for their pigsty room(check!), fancy radio for his truck(check!), and NOT ON GETTING THE FUCK OUT(CHECK^INFINITY),, and no one likes him because of this shit. He's a complete dick. I would be HAPPY, I WOULD SMILE, I WOULD GO, "REALLY? FUCK YEAH!" if he died. If he just fucking fell over and died. Happy. Really happy. Sooooo happy... I've hated him all my fucking life and will continue to do such.
tl;dr

you don't need a 50k salary to leave home. You need much less, actually.

what's more important is to stop acting like a worthless d-bag loser. That should be your first step.

50K a year job to afford a crappy apartment with milk crates and a futon for furniture? Looking back my first place of my own was craptastic but it was the best place in the world when I moved in it.

Find someone you DO like and be roommates or something.

Aren't you the one who posted about how you hated your parents because they bought a house too small and you didn't like your rent-free room? Complete with pictures?

Congratulate your parents for me. They may be awesome people but they apparently raised two self-centered, spoiled and entitled brats. I join with them in looking forward to the day you and your brother either move out or they kick your sorry asses to the curb to learn how to deal with the real world yourself.

I hope your child is as unappreciative as you are and someday when he's complaining about his brother and his room and his car and making you feel like crap about everything you've worked so hard to provide for him that you think back to yourself as a teenager and call your parents to apologize and tell them how much you regret subjecting them to your snobby little attitude as a teenager.
