Not everyone is born with a perky, highly-motivated, and dedicated personality. I happen to be the reverse of all of those.

Yeah, I'm not exactly the happy-go-lucky type either, but DAMN you just bring self pity to an entirely new level.

It seems to bother you that you're single and friendless. Protips:

- As someone mentioned, hit the gym. Can't afford the gym? Well, assuming you have two arms and two legs, you can do some push-ups and find a tree or something. Find yourself a nice heavy rock to lift. Don't know how to work out? AT has its own health and fitness section! Aw shit! Believe it or not, it can make you feel a lot better to be in shape, and it doesn't hurt your chances with women.

- Buy a bike. Ride that motherfucker. Get out more.

- Find some sort of club or activity to get involved in. One as far away from a computer as you can get. Do you live near a university? If so, GO THERE. GO NOW. Can't think of anything to do? Fucking find something.

- Can't talk to girls? Well, you aren't going to get any better at it by not talking to them, are you? Try to start up a friendly chat with cashiers (even dudes since you apparently need more social skills). Talk with someone at the bus stop, even if they're fucking crazy, if anything it will make an interesting story to tell later. The important thing is to work on your communication skills.

- DONT FUCKING THINK ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS ALL THE TIME. Thinking positively does have an actual effect. Even if it doesn't, do you really want to mope around thinking about your issues all the time? It'll just make you bitter.

I have a free membership to the one at my college. I can workout at whenever there is not a class going. I'm trying to get someone to go with me because you can't push yourself if you don't have someone to spot you on some of the lifts. It's nice to have someone else there too.

I have a bike. It's a nice bike. I would ride it except it's mother-fucking insanely cold. It's been below 50F a lot. Hell riding at anything below 60F is just too cold for me because I don't have anything that keeps me warm.

Swing dancing.. I do it twice a week... Sunday and Saturdays...

I can and do talk to girls and guys, quite frequently. Girls just happen to not be physically attracted to me.

Hard not to when all you're told is that you're shit.

Rent: 450
Food: 100 (Less if you like Ramen)
Books: 300
Tuition: 1200

Job at local BK...pays for this...

If you're driven enough you can make the changes you desire. You CAN do it. It might not be pretty at times. It might not be enjoyable. But if you are determined enough get it done and be done with your Drama. It sounds like you enjoy the stimulation no matter how negative. You don't need 50k to live per year...So go get some weed and think real hard about what your going to do and do it.

This has nothing to do with personality and everything to do with choices. My friend who volunteers? Like I said, he has a very hard time connecting socially to people but he does it anyway, even though it's hard for him and doesn't come naturally.

If you choose to make effort then you can change your circumstances. If you don't then you have no right to complain and everyone here is completely justified in being disgusted. You expect the universe to hand everything to you on a silver platter.

That is the third-least attractive quality I can think of in a man, just short of abuse and lying/cheating.

I cannot move out. I believe that moving out will disqualify me as a dependent. I need to be a dependent in order to receive benefits and a free college education. Although if I could attend a university and move out/live in dorm/temporary moving out (No good universities in Vancouver, WA... I cannot attend ones in Portland) and still be a dependent that would be awesome. I don't think I can though, I am not sure.

At 14F.. The roads are probably frozen... Forget that on this: Holy resize your pictures, Batman!

Oh really? There was actually snow on the roads this morning. I rode in on this:

Super light. Zero tread on the slicks at 130 PSI. Fixed gear.

It's possible.

I do have studded tires for when it gets really gross.

Look at Green River Community College it is one of the few CCs that have student housing. also nationally ranked. You can be a dependent while not residing at the same address. There are also those of us who do go to college without the govments free hand out money.

FASFA, get some...

The quarter starts in Jan. If you need a job I can put in a good word for you. Hit me up in PM for details. Hope to see ya here :)

You can definitely live away from home and still be a dependent.

For FAFSA:
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/help/fftoc01k.htm

Took me a whole five seconds to google "fafsa dependency status". It even finished it for me.

Not sure about VA, but I'm guessing its easily found on the web as well.

Edit: Is there some sort of script that automatically resizes images to fit your screen?

I've ridden on Nokian studded tires for 2 seasons and they still look new. They cost me $100 for the set and I'm pretty sure they'll last forever. They've saved my ass a couple times - plus, it's really fun to take it out on the ice rinks around here at night and actually be able to stay up!

I use an old Polaris snowmobile jacket once it hits zero. Reasonably light and super warm. Ski goggles and a scarf and I'm all set.

You're a fucking retard.

The gub'ment considers you a dependent up through and including age 25, regardless of whether you live at home or not. I know this because I was living on my own trying to put myself through college and I couldn't get pel grants or loans because my income combined with my mother's income who lived several cities away was too much. So fuck you.

You're not fooling anyone.

You're a lazy, spoiled little shit who needs a Real Life enema.
