What ultimate goal you are wanting to see get done here?
I don't set the goals, but I would imagine that the immediate goals here are to cause the forces supporting, or conducting the attacks on our troops in Afghanistan, or our interests in Afghanistan a great amount of harm.
I didn't ask you if you set the goals, I'm asking you what ideal of success drives your support here?

I'm not sure why people even bother listening to/watching the press secretaries. While I haven't seen this guy yet, I'm sure he's a turd. Their whole job is to pretty much act like a turd.

You are just so blinded by your sympathies to tyrants that you can't see I have no love for terrorists.

And I do wish you could put me on ignore, as then I could call you out on your incessant idiocy without provoking yet more moronic retorts.

Says the one so blinded by a pursuit of helping an "oppressed" victim that he disregards his own morals and supports the killing of innocents and the using of children as fodder.

Well, the POTUS *does* need a mouthpiece. Thats for sure. But at least get one who is a gifted speaker. Turd or not, he *sounds* like a TARD*. Not very flattering.

My morals prevent me from supporting the killing or oppression of any innocents, but you are obviously too depraved to comprehend that.

Yeah, because in order to be an agent of change, Obama needs to change everything. He even needs to take policies he has repeatedly said he agreed with, and advocated himself during the campaign, and if they are anything like what was done before he needs to do something different.

If Bush flew in a jet, Obama needs to take a submarine. If Bush eats three meals a day, Obama needs to get nourishment through an IV. Bush sleeps in a bed? Obama better suspend himself from the ceiling like Batman. If he doesn't we should immediately run to the internet and type LOLCHANGE into the first available text box.

As usual you death loving stupid assholes haven't the faintest idea what you are talking about. Today you delight in the fact that a 19 year old Nintendo playing high school drop out is Americas best drone pilot, but tomorrow that same technology will be the suicide bomber of every terrorist group in America, the 72 virgin seeking bomb strap-oner, extrordinaire, who seeks nothing but to blow itself up in your sewers, your power stations, your dams, and factories all over your beautiful land. You are the giggling morons who open Pandora's box. Little bots of death are on the way for he who lives by the sword shall die by it forevermore.

I thought you smart assholes have been telling us for years that terrorists don't actually exist, but are a boogyman creation of the imagination of the evil vast right wing conspiracy?????????

I wouldn't know what smart assholes think as I consider myself to be a rather dumb one. As such, what I would say is that you've gotten everything wrong. The way I see it is that the world is perfect as it is and that only by thinking there is evil do I bring evil into existence. So those who practice terrorism, a form of war against evil, create the evil they see, and such people exist in huge numbers, including yourself.

Don't worry, I am willing to bear your cross.

Don't, you will only make it not worth me bearing.

Are you f'ing serious? He's been in office 2 days, and you contribute this attack to him?

Please step away from the Internet.

He is the Commander in Chief. End of story.

Yep. I love how people pretend Obama is not in control of our armed forces. If he wanted the strikes to stop, he could have made one phone call or signed one piece of paper.

As far as the strikes, to Obama. Keep pissing those bleeding-hearts off.

You guys want him to make decisions on a whim without meeting with everyone else who has been handling all this for the last administration? The world is a big place... there is a lot for him to consider... thats what thinking people do. Consider.

LOL sorry. You are stretching it.

This isnt some back-burner issue. This is using military/CIA assets to strike a nation that we techinically are not in any conflict with. Believe me, Obama has been briefed.

Don't get your Ojamas in a bind just because I make fun of a campaign slogan, because I'm really making fun of the select partisan lefties on here that vanish like worms under a flashlight when required to stand behind their so-called principles.

I completely support his position on this, just as I did with Bush.

I can see how it might look like that to someone who's judgments of innocence obviously have no basis is morality.

I'm just going to inject some facts into this discussion and then i'm out again.

1. This operation is just a continuing operation that won't be over for many years.
2. The reason there are no reports of civilian casualties is because there were no civilians in this camp, there rarely are but the Talibans often drag their own victims of molestation and torture into areas where we hit.
3. There will be more and better aimed strikes like this one in the future since the orders have changed and more troops are focused on this area along with more and better equipment from pretty much all the countries involved.

While I completely support this, there's been rampant posting over the last 8 years about Bush violating the sovereignty of Pakistan and "murdering innocents". Knowing our enemy likes to hide behind the skirts of his wives and toys of his children, there are probably innocents killed in this strike.

So here we are, no change on this policy it appears. What say ye?

Let me guess....Obama`s been in office for 3 days now and your pissed because he has not closed Guatanamo......he has not pulled all the troops out of iraq.........he has not balanced the budget........

Lets see what else....he has not brokered a Peace in the middle east and created a Palestinian state.........

sheese.........3 days....sheese it took God 7 days to create the heavens and the earth...lolol

If Obama wanted to pull the plug, it would be done. However, I dont think he is going to do that. Obviously, he approves of using predator drones to strike inside Pakistan, which is a good thing.
