fat is back in style?

fat isnt the problem. its people that dont take care of themselves and become fat. it actually is gross, because they are made of the shit they eat.

almost all fat people are that way because they choose to eat unhealthy. some aren't, some are just born that way but its so few it would be ridiculous to think one way about something just because of the exceptions.

You can eat healthy and still become fat. It's just a matter of eating more calories than you burn. Unbelievabubble how many fatties (and others) don't get this simple fact.

What I'd like to know is when is America's fat bubble going to burst? I just want to know when they will stop investing in fatties.

P.S. You can also eat unhealthy and be skinny as a rail. Just eat less junkfood calories than you burn.

What disgusts me most with fat people is that they have no concern about the externalities of their flab on society.

In most countries (maybe different in USA) there is public healthcare. So if people are fat, they cost the system significantly more over their lifetime. That means I need to pay more taxes to support their fatness than I would otherwise. Who knows, instead of the 56% income tax I pay now it could possibly be 45%.

Seriously, fat people cost the healthcare system significantly more money.

Why should someone have to "fix" something as complex as their body, when people won't fix something as simple as their mind?

I bet you thought that sounded way cleverer before you actually posted it, didn't you, champ?

You know what, I honestly don't give two shits about fat people being happy that they are fat. Really. But when it comes to loved ones, being at greater risk for obese-associated illnesses just breaks my heart. I don't want my family members to live in risk of that; further, I don't want my loved ones to suffer through the myriad self-esteem and psychological issues that are associated with being obese.

So, yeah, if my family members, friends or spouse starts to get really overweight, I'm saying something. I will never be an apologist for a lower quality of life. Not just their life, mine, too.

Obesity is a problem. Overweight on the other hand, not so much. It seems you can't differentiate between the two, but that's not really any of my concern. 😉

Then workout for two hours.

Am I missing something?

Your missing that people have lives to live. Diet control is way more important than working out simply because it's something you can do without freeing your schedule and therefor is easier than working out.

Working out = changing your lifestyle, changing your schedule, doing something that in the beginning is hard and painful.

Eating Healthy = changing your life style, doing something that makes you hungry in the beginning as your body adjusts to eating a reasonable amount of food.

If I didn't change my diet, I'd have to work out at least 3 hours a night. That means I could go to work, go to the gym, (on the way wolf down some 5 guys), work out (and try not to puke up 5 guys), then go home and sleep.

No time for family, no time to pay bills, clean the house, wash the car, do laundry, etc. A much more reasonable idea is stop eating the damn 5 guys and maybe have a salad. Then I can do a 45 minute workout and have time for the rest of my life.

Who the hell wants to spend all their time on this planet in a gym?

Stay off of atot all weekend and I miss a fat thread.
She is most definitely fat, borderline obese, which is a shame cuz she's got a great face. Imagine how smoking she would be if she lost about 75 pounds.
At 5'9", she should be around 115-120.

But the problem is that

(1) The morbidly obese will use this woman as justification for why there is nothing wrong with their weight. After all plus size is "hot".

(2) The woman is already overweight while in her 20s without having kids. How much do you think she will pork up afterward?

Ewwww

Take 75 pounds off and she will look like a 13 year old girl or a crackhead.

No thanks

Can't tell if trolling, or just unfamiliar with female form.

My housemate is 5'9" and 135. If she dropped 20 pounds, she'd look like a holocaust survivor. (Her boobs'd disappear, her ass would be concave, and she'd have to start shedding muscle.)

Considering that she is a model (plus size or not) and has to conform to a certain "look" to keep her job, she'll probably do what she needs to, to end up back where she was.

"Bouncing back" from pregnancy is a challenge, but having kids isn't a death sentence.

Trolling? Nah, you're just so used to seeing fatties on a daily basis that what's become acceptable fat/weight levels has shifted +20 pounds.

The average Victoria secret model is 5'10" 110 pounds so I've already allowed some extra "poundage" for those of us whose full time jobs aren't to look sexy 24/7.
I challenge u to tell me that VS models don't have curves.

I think you need to reconsider that. A 110#, 5'9" VS model would be... well... fired.

"I would say she has to go up to 125 pounds, she looks about 108 to 110 right now, and she's 5-foot-9 and a half," says diet expert Rochelle Sirota. "We know that TV and film puts on weight, the minimum looks like she would need to gain 15 pounds.

Ig'nint or trollin'.

No it doesn't, I went from 240 to 170 and I still ate like shit, I just ate less. I guess you could consider less food a change in diet, but I was eating the exact same foods. As for the bold, I dunno it burns off HALF their meal? You need calories, there's important. If you only eat 1 big mac and busted your ass doing Insanity you'd be at a caloric deficiency. Burning more calories than you intake isn't a good or healthy thing. When I use to work out for 2 hours a day I had to eat more food to supplement my calories.

And I went from 215 to 185 by changing my diet without any change in activity.

My anecdote trumps your anecdote.

🙄

And this. Telling some obese loser that he can keep eating like a pig, but now has to spend 3 hours a night in the gym? Good luck with that.

Wtf is "diet expert" sirota and why should I care about his opinion?
Alessandra Ambrosia is 5'10" 112#
Tara banks is 5'10" 115#
Arianna Lima is 5'10" 120#
Giselle is 5'10" 115#

Add 10# for a "normal", in shape girl so about 120# for a 5'9" girl as I stated above.
Maybe an extra 5# if she has D cups and a nice ass.

Not sure what VS models you are looking at, but there hasn't been a VS model over 100# since Tyra Banks who was too large to continue a career as a model. She now promotes Oscar Mayer thick slice bacon if memory serves.

99% of losing weight is diet and portion control.. no amount of exercise will have you lose weight if you eat poorly... don't make excuses for people.
No amount of exercise eh? There is a bunch of nonsense in this thread. Many of you have no idea what you are rattling off about. But this post was especially wrong so I chose to single it out for refutation. http://www.michaelphelps.net/michael-phelps-diet/ Notice how he eats mayo and entire pizzas. He loved fast food burgers and such too, before he got the subway contract.

You can continue to demonstrate your ignorance, or STFU, your choice.
