fat is back in style?

since when? the 90's?

This isn’t the first time a brand has used a plus-size model. In fact, many brands and magazines are embracing the idea that yes, curves are in—and beautiful. It’s about time.

🙁 theres nothing worse then a fat person telling you they are sexy because they have lumps. i mean, the girl in the pic looks pretty good, but she does look like she eats unhealthy...

fat is never in style. its just fat people trying to make themselves feel better while they shove ice cream down their gullett.

And another "fat" bashing thread.

fat isnt the problem. its people that dont take care of themselves and become fat. it actually is gross, because they are made of the shit they eat.

almost all fat people are that way because they choose to eat unhealthy. some aren't, some are just born that way but its so few it would be ridiculous to think one way about something just because of the exceptions.

Actually I have read fat people try to justify being obese by BMI because of champion athletes also being obese because of BMI...

I decided to go home this weekend from college before finals and visit family. I was sitting in my living room, watching Dr. Phil with my grandmother when they start an older episode about a girl who had severe anorexia and bulimia. It was intense, but before they brought her out, Dr. Phil was introducing doctors there to help her if she agreed to start treatment and if anything went wrong through the course of the show. For some reason, to show the opposite end of the spectrum, I guess, they decided to start off with talking about teen obesity. One doctor started saying that teens who gain weight through adolescence will struggle with that weight for the rest of their lives, and my grandmother turns to me, as a fat 19 year old, and says, “Sorry, Jennie.”

BMI was never created to be used on an Individual basis anyway. It was meant to be used over a group of persons, such as a country.

Thin privilege is not being told by your boyfriend that you’re callous and bitter because you think pretty girls have it easier. Thin privilege is not being told how difficult life is when you’re so thin and pretty that you’re literally “harassed” every time you go out in public by men who want to get to know you. Thin privilege is never hearing your own boyfriend tell you “You don’t discriminate against essentially anyone, but now you won’t sympathize with thin/pretty woman? Don’t be a hypocrite”. Thin privilege is never being told you don’t have the right to be unfriendly to strangers, because they aren’t talking to you because of your looks anyways so shut the fuck up and be nice.
(Reconsidering my relationship)
(Mod note: this post highlights sexism and male entitlement. It’s important to remember that while thin women may have some things easier in life than fat women, all women face male entitlement, sexism and varying forms of sexual harassment. - Fatanarchy)

i dont want to seem i only like skinny girls... most skinny girls are crack whores anyway. i dont mind a curvy woman, they can be deadly sexy... its just when you get that loose fat that you can tell is there from junk food... you can tell they dont stay active, and probably sweat way too much during sex. that is gross.
