Damn, I'm still wavering on my fence. I'll think to myself, "nah, can get by without this." Later, "hmmm, would be really nice to have." Then, "well, new GPUs are coming out." Now, "but this is such a great deal."

It's now at TigerDirect... with a rebate.

Thanks. Maybe that's what pushes me over the edge, LOL.

BTW, from the Tiger Direct page...
This product has a Lifetime Warranty.
This warranty is provided by EVGA.

EDIT: Okay, ordered one. Shipping's kind of steep, but $262 out the door isn't too bad overall, plus rebate on it (yeah yeah, a TD rebate 😛 ).

Can I get an opinion on the $30 rebate on more than one card? The rebate summary seems to indicate that the offer can be used on up to two cards per person/household/etc.

The fine print says limit one....

It's going to be a fun week in the video forum when we all start comparing OC's, etc 😀

Yes, I have confirmed that.

One down, one more to go:
Whether eVGA will honor the step up or not?

What exactly is in question please? Why would they not honor it?

conditions are "two items per household," but "one rebate offer per person...household.." I would interpret that to mean a single person is entitled to two rebates, which MUST be submitted simultaneously in the same envelope. Any one read it differently?

I don't think so.
The rebate clearly states only one application per envelope.

Well the title of the rebate seems to suggest that you can submit two. But now two per card. Very confursing. But than again most of onrebate terms are always confusing.

You may also want to clarify how the rebate would be taken into account if you plan to submit for step-up. eVGA charges 15% of MSRP if I am not mistaken if you do not send everything back including the box. Now, if you remove the UPC, I don't know if they will consider that acceptable or if they would penalize you.

Just more or less wondering rather than questioning...
I needed more coffee before I started to type, this morning...:disgust:
I'd see that eVGA new card buyers would get both L/T warranty and/or step-up if choose to do so within 90 days...Correct?

That is my understanding. And after step-up, the card they step up to could have a lifetime warranty also as long as it fits the categories listed on this page.

I have gone through a step-up once and it was straight forward.

What would you do with the step up?

You know one of the main problems in buying a graphics card is the fast depreciation. eVGA step-up could help address that. If the next generation cards come out within 90 days after you buy your card, you can upgrade to the next generation and only pay the difference between what you paid with the MSRP of the new card you are upgrading to.

So, you use step-up to upgrade your card if you want to.
