So I am playing the free trial of EVE. So far i've spent more time reading tutorials and reading the manuals online than playing. The game is incredibly deep. So far the gist of it to me is to start out mining/gathering resources to sell or go around and kill npc pirates to get money while learning skills. Then either become a prof miner, become a fighter, join/start a corp, or make money playing on the market. Is that about it? Is there more to the game then make money to do mroe things which give you more money? Are there end game galactic battles to join in or instances to fly through/quest to complete? I've done some of the agent missions but they dont seem fun enough to want to do forever because you either gather something, take something from point a to b or kill something. I know i'm being very general but maybe I can prod someone who loves the game to give me a rant on all the cool things to do so I can see what I'm missing. I feel like i could get into it if I see the purpose.
