When I go to the map it only shows the map of the town I am in. No way to get back to the camp. I only saw the camp option when I was in like a world map.

What merchant? In Lothering? There was a merchant at the inn and then there was a "merchant" outside the inn hassling a priest. He ended up leaving because of the dialog options I chose. Is he the merchant I need?
At the bottom of the map screen there is an icon that shows you the world map. Click on it then you can click on your camp.

Can get there from almost any of the main outside areas. Won't work if you are under ground or in the forest though.

Early in the game, you should have been approached by 2 dwarves in a caravan. They say they are going to follow you as you go town to town. They appear as traders in your camp.

As it was said before, hit "M" for map, and click the map icon on the bottom of the screen, and in the upper right hand corner, in the actual map, you can choose "camp". The merchant and enchanter will appear there. You should be able to do this in any open area, other than the forest.

I guess it could be possible to tell them not to follow you, but, if I remember correctly, there weren't many dialog options. They decided to follow me, and that was that...

I romanced morrigan, wore her ring, but can't get the ending where I feel her regret :(. Any idea on how that works.

Aye. To get that
You have to have a final conversation with her right before going out on to the roof to fight the Archdemon.

2 things: 1, he is not operating as a merchant in Lothering, and 2, you did encounter him - it's unavoidable. They are the
2 dwarves in the caravan being attacked by darkspawn by the exit to town. You literally have to walk right by him to leave the town, and I'm pretty sure he starts a conversation after you kill the darkspawn there.

I haven't left Lothering yet so I haven't met them yet.

Question with spoiler alert.

So, on a second play, I'm still trying to not kill Conner or the mother. Unlike the first game that didn't work, this time I went and cleared the circle of magi before going to redville.

In redville when the conversation tree got to that point and it was suggested maybe there's another way, the tree cut off the option with a comment 'the circle of magi can't help now'.

I went to the cirlce anyway, and it's all but deserted, Greigor who is not helpful and the quartermaster.

This is getting old. The game is too easy to miss options like that. -16 rep with Alastair, too.

I almost forgot, traps become a cakewalk if you have stealth. Just stealth, tell your party to hold back, and walk though the area disarming ever trap as you go. Then go back to your party and engage the bad guys. Helps in those areas that are filled with horrible traps.

Good plan except for the bugs where your party refuses to move after you tell it to, until you start combat with them far off.

No. When you leave lothering, you encounter a bad guy and when you get rid of him there are two dwarves who thank you. It's them.

[ spoiler ] [ / spoiler ] - Spoiler tags, we have em, use em.

You did *save* the circle, and not annihilate it, yes? Didn't tell the templar at the top of the tower you were going to go in there and kill everything?

So that's how you do spoilers.

I did say I wanted to savethe mages, but it seemed they all got killed in the battle. I did use whatever that protective thing was that you find on the body after the fade.

Did Irving survive? The rest always die, but Irving should live - and he's the one you talk to about the boy

man, some of these fights are insane! After Lothering I went to Brecilia Forest and once you get to a certain point, the difficulty seems to jump massively.

So easy with mages, fireballs, sleep spell etc.... helps a lot with large groups of mobs.

My party is leveled up so high I've been using one mage, and three random members of my party. Grant it I do have most of the best goodies I could get, i.e Juggernaut armor, Blood Dragon armor, Starfang, etc.,etc.

In The Dead Trenches now and nothing has been able to really slow my party down. Took out two ogres in less than 3 minutes with the party I described earlier.

since i mentioned the difficulty earlier, should i be doing stuff in specific orders or is better to go one way because its easier so i can level up a bit to take on harder stuff, like in Brecilia Forest?

I've managed to not kill Connor.
You have to have Jowan conduct a blood magic spell that sacrifices the life of the mother and send you into the fade to find the boy.
Not sure if that is what you're looking for, or if you're trying to not kill them both. Sadly, I don't know how to save them both.

I think the Circle of Mages and Brecilian Forest are the two easiest army gathering quests. Redcliff is a bit harder, and Frostback Mtn is a lot harder.

The sad thing is you gather all these armies; but then don't really need them at the end :(

I went through this (roughly) same sequence of events on my first playthrough.
I went to Redcliffe and declined the Mage Tower option (honestly thought it was too far away), but then ended up at there anyway; after finishing clearing the tower, you ought to be able to ask the First Enchanter about it... He should be in that first room.

Where do I finde him after going back to the circle and only greigor is there? I don't remmeber what happened but it seemed like he got killed even though I said I wanted to save the mages.

I just got to the Camp, and installed Blood Dragon Armor and The Stone Prisoner from the codes given within the game packaging. I see them as 100% downloaded, but I check my inventory and there is no Blood Dragon Armor?

It says to follow the directions in the journal, but there are no directions...
