[cry] Leave Sarah alone [/cry]:D

I.....I....I can't help myself.....somebody stop me....she keeps putting her mappy, squinty, winky face all over the media....suggestively preaching choice morsels of right wing extremist calls to arms with that smarmy squeaky, irritating voice of hers and then gets all upset when people point out what a profiteering, opportunistic, rabble rousing air-headed mother of all drama queens that she is.

What fun it is to watch her have her own acidic words gain circular velocity and satisfyingly smack her upside the back of her head with such forceful, righteous retribution.:D

Let the backfire continue. American's don't like it when politicians (almost always democrats) threaten free speech.

This morning on “Good Morning America,” ABC’s Ashleigh Banfield sat down with Zach Osler, a high school friend of Jared Loughner, the suspect in the Tucson massacre.

Osler says his friend wasn’t shooting at people, “he was shooting at the world.” Regarding the high-pitched talk radio and cable news political rhetoric, Osler says his friend didn’t even watch the news.

He did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio. He didn’t take sides. He wasn’t on the left. He wasn’t on the right.

Interview after the jump…

HAHAHAHAHA!

Palin, wading into the center of the whole traumatic event, finds a way to turn the story and focus it all on herself.

The video she released was absolute crap, it was appalling. Al Sharpton's released statement shown more backbone, more leadership, more intelligence, and more humility than Palin's 8 minute back pedaling and scapegoating.

"backfire" ? there is no backfire. Palin had an opportunity to make all her critics look bad, instead she proves everyone right. She doesn't think.

Interesting how, when in his state of "insanity", he "shoots at the world" by specifically targeting a politician at a political rally. He knew where his specific target was, he knew when his specific target was there, he knew what he was going to do to her when he got there, and yet, despite all of the purposeful concious planning and execution he accomplished, all he knew was he wanted "to shoot at the world"?

"Shooting at the world" speaks to an impulsive random act. There was nothing random in what he did and when he did it.

From andrew sullivan's blog, a reader notes palins, um, logic, in her defense speech:

1. "Acts of monstrous criminality stand on their own. They begin and end with the criminals who commit them."

i.e. political rhetoric IS NOT and CANNOT be responsible for inciting violence, thus politicians are not culpable for such perpetrated acts

2. "Especially within hours of a tragedy unfolding, journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn."

i.e. Journalists who draw reasonable conclusions that extreme political rhetoric might lead to violence CAN AND DO incite people to violence and are culpable for such perpetrated acts

As my southern friends would say, Bless Her Heart.

Is it just me or is there 1,000x as much talk about how awful it is that people are politicizing this tragedy than there is actual politicizing of this tragedy? Everyone with their head on straight has said this is an awful thing that has happened and is not blaming either party for anything. It's obvious that the killer targeted her for the sole reason that she was a politician, regardless of her views or political affiliation.

The surest sign that someone IS a nutjob is that they try to blame the shooting on anyone but the killer and his insanity.

Well, seeing as if she, as well as all of those other FOX employees think that the right to freedom of speech gives them the right to lie, misdirect, obfuscate and deflect their way to political power, her defense of such behavior will invariably be of the same methodology, with the usual disasterous results. Lies and deception will always beget more lies and deception, to no end. You'd think she'd learn that by now.

LOL @ "reasonable conclusions". It is just as reasonable to draw the conclusion that Loughner brought a gun to a knife fight like Obama told him he should.

Liberals clearly incited this violent act by their "bring a gun to a knife fight" hate speech and putting a bullseye on a map of Arizona several years ago. Scumbags!

I like how she has the nerve and audacity to compare herself to persecuted Jews.

There is a difference between a video game about killing grandma and "news" that democrats are trying to kill grandma. It's a sad thing so many of you on the right seem oblivious to such a profound difference.

And that's the truth of the matter, the intentional misrepresentation and demonizing that goes on by the right with what passes itself off as "fair and balanced" media in order to inflame the population.
Perhaps you can explain to us how Republicans accusing Democrats of wanting to kill Grandma for the "common good" is somehow much more heinous than Democrats accusing Republicans of wanting to kill Grandma for profit. The rhetoric on the left is just as inflammatory as that on the right, because the stakes are so high for both sides.

Too bad you can't distinguish crosshairs on a rifle from a logo for a department store. Oh boy that Democratic map is so threatening

I like how she has the nerve and audacity to compare herself to persecuted Jews.

Yeah, she reacted just as a schoolyard bully would when confronted by a phalanx of her victims older siblings.....place tail between legs, display righteous indignation and feigned injuries so as to back out of the ensuing confrontation unharmed whilst posing as a victim of unwarranted and misplaced ire.

Not a day before the slayings was Palin in full stride feeling full of herself and carrying on as the flag bearer for the coming second amendment solution to the despicable Kenyan Kommunist Klan that presently occupies the White House.

Ah well, in a couple of weeks she will lick her wounds, gather up the rest of the crew that went into hiding over this tragedy and carry on as if nothing ever happened.

It's mind boggling that your lust for all things Palin has you so concentrated on her fictitious roll in this tragedy. You hate her so much, but yet if the progressives stopped talking about her 80% of her presence on the internet would disappear.

One thing is for sure, attack palin with irrational attacks and you make her look smart in comparison. That is true.

You mean disappear like how Palin's webpage with all of the crosshairs disappeared AFTER Rep Gifford was shot?

Then she lowers the bar and compares herself to persecuted Jews. There's no topping her for stupid.

Well there's a slight difference from the fact that the former contains no element of truth to it whatsoever while the latter actually does have, however minute, a basis in reality as Republicans largely were and remain adamantly in opposition to moving this country in a direction away from a place where it's OK to let people die because they can't afford health care. But I don't know why I bother when you and the rest of your gang prove yourselves time and time again to be beyond any rational thought or debate. It's your ideology or the highway with you types, as evidenced by Palin's further descent into inflammatory partisan rhetoric instead of taking her moment, even just pretending to act like an adult, and saying despite likely not having any direct influence over this person or event, the rhetoric over the recent years has crossed the line and needs to be toned back. No, the folks that say that are just trying to politicize this tragedy in your minds. It's absolutely sickening.

No disappear as in progressives talk, and post more about her than her fans do, though I applaud you weak attempt at a diversion ...4/10. It's funny that you cry about the rhetoric, then you cry about her toning down the rhetoric, then cry about her retort to the rhetoric, with you guys it's All Palin, All Day. Progressives  Palin.

Haha, yea, because you and "yours" are so understanding and open to discussion, give me a fucking break. You are right about one thing, it's absolutely disgusting.
