Compilation: Should this person be allowed to own a gun?

People need to see the real thing. Honestly maybe put those pics on every box of ammo.

Crazy thing is that even a lowly .22 short will kill a grown man in a flash. 😳

Know how in movies they show cops hiding behind things like cars in a gunfight all the time?

An AK-47 or M-16 (for examples) especially with armor-piercing rounds loaded will reduce most cars effectively to tissue-paper. (and lol @ sheltering behind a car-door!)

97 is the average, meaning that half are dumber than that. Scary, but not shocking.

Carlin DID warn us! 😉

To be fair there are parts of some cars that WILL stop small-arms fire like the huge iron block in an old Chevy V8 or the 1/4 inch steel wheels/frame/suspension of a 1970's Ford pickup.

But even the redonkulas/chonky doors on vehicles like 1950's/60's sedans that weighed in at 100+ lbs each won't stop bullets from anything much bigger than a .38 pistol at close range.

OTOH the doors on my Honda would likely have a tough time with a Crossman 760 or even a bow and arrow! (best bet is to bravely run away!)

😛

IQ tests are 100% subjective anyway. Forest Gump was right about "stupid". 😉

Tell me I'm wrong about the Fox news thing though!

I find it funny that basically everyone thinks they are smarter than average.

Everyone else on the road is either an idiot or a maniac too don't forget! 😉

This is not a slam on you, I think you’re a smart guy.
And a bunch of them are right.
I once met a fellow who had three different degrees and couldn't keep a job. When I asked him about it he said "I'm an educated idiot". He was quite good at retaining information, but couldn't apply it.

But clearly just under 50% of people have to be dumber than average.

Ideally no one, other than military and police, and the latter only because we currently have too many guns in private hands so I don't think we can have an unarmed police force.

That said, anyone stupid, radical, a believer in conspiracy theories, prior record of violence, depressed or otherwise mentally ill.

And any member of the republican party, because practically all of them fit into one of the above. 😉
Saw the figure on CBS evening news tonight and it was compiled by a gun advocacy organization so it's no progressive hyperbole:

433 million guns in private hands right now in the USA. That's more than one-per-person. This country is armed to the teeth:

It's also around 42% of the total global privately-held guns, with only 5% of the world's population.
Wow, I feel so naked. JK

(I don't think my single shot manual-ratchet pump up pellet gun counts... 10+ ratchets to achieve any velocity)

1 sigma (85-115) is 68% of population and 2 sigma (70-130) is around 95%. 2.5% below 70 and 2.5% above 130
So with an average of 97, there are more people below that number than above it. It's not a big difference, but the range is from 27 points below the average, to 33 above it. So it's safe to assume more than half are below 100.

JFC. It's no wonder there are 30m+ Qtards in circulation in the US.

Instacart drivers drove to the wrong house by accident. Homeowner asks who they are and then shoots them. Drivers are black, homeowner is white.
"He's like, 'Who are you?' and we're saying we're with Instacart," D’arville said. She said that when the man fired, he hit her car several times.
However, D’arville confirmed that she and Thomas tried to press charges, but the police said that because the incident occurred on the homeowner’s property, he "didn’t break any laws or do anything unlawful."

I hope there is a way the shooter can be sued civilly. Take that fuckers house and property in court.

Florida's statute says that deadly force is presumed necessary when someone "was in the process of unlawfully and forcefully entering, or had unlawfully and forcibly entered, a dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle...." In other words, the presumption does not apply to someone who is on your property but not in your dwelling and not physically entering your dwelling. This is the typical castle doctrine.

Those drivers should report the matter to state police and/or FBI as the local police are lying.
