Let's explore this some. Does a woman have the right to have a perfectly good arm surgically removed?
I think you'll find that the answer is no, that while there is no law prohibiting it industry practices make it effectively impossible to have the surgery performed.
An excellent analogy thraashman! Can I assume that you feel that fetuses should be held to the same standards as perfectly good limbs?
Actually you probably would be able to have an elective procedure to have an arm removed. It would more likely be plastic surgery though. However if an arm that was not previously there started growing on your body, then I think it would become a non plastic surgery elective procedure and any surgeon of the proper field would almost guaranteed remove it.
