They do too still rap about that stuff. Dre himself admits that he could not sell as many albums if he did not talk about the gangsta stuff.

It's all a fantasy for white suburban kids to buy into. It's easy to listen to gun talk when you live in sheltered suburbia and don't have to deal with that stuff everyday.

It's all a bunch of well off kids rebelling against their parents. The last generation used to piss off their parents by listening to rock. This generations parents listen to rock so they listen to rap/hip-hop. The next generation will be f*cked up in some other way.

Ok. Hiphop is enlightening, highly palatable music, doubtlessly to be looked upon by future generations as one of the greatest musical and social contributions to modern society. Hundreds of years from now, hiphop will sit next to such wonderous musical movements as the Polka, and be appreciated for all time.

I like hiphop. Not because I think so and so is talented or musical or whatever, I just like the way it sounds. I could give two *blanks* about what they rap about. I don't agree with glorifying whatever, but lots of music genres glorify crap that people find objectionable. People sing about drugs, parties, killing, whatever. It's not just isolated to hiphop. If people would just enjoy the music instead of thinking that they have to try living the life that they sing about, we wouldn't be having this arguement.
