Huh?

I think you're talking to element, because I haven't said anything in this thread.
But, since you asked, I honestly don't get worked up over all that much music. I like listening to it on occasion, but I don't think I've bought a CD since I was 17. I don't think _any_ kind of music is _real_ music, necessarily. I don't really hold one kind of music high on a pedestal over any other kind. Some music is beautiful, some music is ugly, some is serious, some is fun. I have my preferences on what I listen to most (all sorts, but lately classic rock and 80's crap... I've been on a Styx kick lately, and I can't figure out why

), but generally I'm pretty neutral on music.
That said, there are certain things that I don't like about the _people_ and the _attitudes_ that go with some types of music, and I'll leave it at that. I'm kinda tired of this topic, because, well, I don't think you'll ever see my point. And that's okay, because maybe I'm not seeing yours because I just don't care all that much about the music I listen to, and think that some people care a little too much about the music they listen to, because after all it's just a form of entertainment.
I say have fun with it.

Listen to some Weird Al, or Primus, or really cheesy 80's crap like Styx. It's fun!
