You lost, get over it, opinion polls dont mean squat for him anymore.
I disagree. If he was elected to serve the people and the people aren't happy...this is a very important issue. That being said, there's nothing to do about it, if the people pick him, they have every right to b!tch him out, at the same time live with the consequences, of course there is only one poll that counted.

I agree and my point is are we going to have a thread every week a new poll comes out?
Talking about Bush's low opinion numbers means squat since he won the election and wont be running again.

I guess the part about the congressional numbers don't mean dip either?

You fanboys crack me up. People deserve what they got. If the bastage sinks us, then so be it.

It's a way to support reasoning that people are not happy with the direction of the country. A state of affairs if you will. I see Kerry IQ threads and stuff...how that is relevant, I have no idea.

A poll a week is excessive as people are not thinking about these things that often. Maybe one thread with public opinion polls?

I searched for Conjur's thread but didn't see it. Maybe I used the wrong search words such as "poll"?

Besides, it's politican AND news, so it was posted.

Comments on other threads (not you stunt)

Oh, and on the hyprocritcal remark (a page or two ago), I never said that I wouldn't be doing the same if the polls were reversed. I can't stand the bastard in the White House and never will. He had my support right after 9/11, but Iraq and the lie threw it away. Nobody on this green earth will change my opinion of that, period. Thanks for playing though.

Oh, and a :cookie: for the Captain ovious remark. :)

 Get a clue and try reading for once. The media clearly creates "news" with these sorts of polls -no? If not - then who is creating the poll news?
If the media wants a certain outcome - would they not pick a sample that reflects that? Would they also not ask questions they want to use to create a better "story"?

Wake up bowfinger - your hate has lulled you into an irrational sleep.

"WAAAAAAAAA! I'll get you, Reality, and your little dog too! WAAAAAAA!" Get help.

One by one, Americans are snapping out of their trance. Bush's flock is dwindling, his so-called "political capital" evaporating. Those are the facts. Deal with it.

Woot - avoid the question - your specialty.

"The media clearly creates "news" with these sorts of polls -no? If not - then who is creating the poll news?"

CsG

Edit to fix your formatting

Yes it creates the news as surly as it creates the polls. Though both were somones idea, meaning someone wanted to do a poll and put it on tv, does that make the poll wrong?

Nope, I didn't say that.:)

CsG

No you didnt but you are infuring that it is wrong or bias. Read the post with the questions on it.
On another note all you lefties shouls give CAD some credit. Though you do think his posts are wrong, He is keeping up with posts, or a good amount of them. Props for sticking up for what you believe.
Though i do know what your talking about, in this case i think the lefties are right. Polls are going down. Nuff said.

I have never made the claim that the polls aren't going down;) See, that's the problem - people are imagining claims that I've never made and are trying to trash me for them.

*shrug* I'm used to that though - I've been here a while:D

The questions there are very easy to read there, shouldnt take more than a few seconds, hell I have read them and have wasted far more time replying and reading this thread than it took me to find the questions and read them. So I'll give you what.. 10 minutes from now to read the questions and give a propper answer, I think the forum demands that after 3-4 hours since this thread was posted.

Again, I'll decide how much time I will take to analyze the numbers and samples - not you.

If this poll is anything like the Washington Post-ABC News poll a couple days ago it doesn't mean much. Bad samples and even worse questions.

But hey- you Bush haters can lap up the "news" created by these "news" organizations if it helps you sleep...

CsG

Ah, did I strike a nerve?

Here's a :cookie: from a severe Bush hater for you to enjoy. Have fun! :D

Nope - just calling them like I see them. Seems I hit the nail right on the head though from what I'm seeing...

CsG

Yea, like you see them in that distorted and confused mind... or whatever is left of it...

TaB

Seeing them from reality. ie: not blinded by hatred.
Try some critical thinking for once instead of just lapping up the story the media wants to tell.

CsG

So instead of believing the bad news, you choose to beleive what? From where are you cross checking these facts?
Reading the bull sh!t off your toilet paper agian?
This is what im talking about.

They aren't "facts" -they are polls. Which means opinions. IF the sample is within reason and the questions are clear and aren't leading then the poll's results should be taken for what they are - opinions. If people don't like Bush - fine - I have never said everyone should like Bush. It also is irrelevant due to Bush not having to be re-elected. He can and will lead without "polls" to tell him which way to go like some politicians need.

CsG

Granted, but then whats your point?

The point is that the attack on my motives is untrue. Those on the left seem to think I don't like the poll because if what they think it says. However, I am suggesting that we should look deeper than the little headlines that the media feeds.

I really dont think people are going to care about Bush's opinion when it comes to electing congressional members in 06 because th dems are completely ineffective.

Maybe if the Dems figure it out they can make a dent but right now Dean is succeeding in driving away moderates.

I think your pretty much right on. The far left will bitch about anything but theres not much they can do. Moderates will sit back and look on as it makes very little diffrence. As long as he does not appoint any extreemists, there should be no problem.

Confirmed, the Bush administration and the legislature is at its lowest approval rating with this registered republican. I might vote Democrat next election if they keep pushing this ultra conservative bull sh!t agenda. I think Bush is really a Federalist, not a Republican.

Any small government conservative supporting the current state of affairs in the US should give their head a shake. Considering the fastest growing sector in the US is public (government) sector, during an economic boom...you really have to wonder what the Republicans are right now.
