Yes, and i said that that is impossible because his "polls" directly correspond with his reelection.

Approval rating directly corresponds with election. If Bush got 10% of the votes on EVERY SINGLE POLL, then chances are he wouldn't have won the election.

Tell me Sport, if W ran today, do you think he'd get the exact same number of votes he did last year?

Point is...numbers/opinions change. Get it?

Yes, however he has not done anything to drastically affect peoples opinions on him. Of course the numbers would not be exactly the same however they would be VERY VERY similiar.

If someone hated him during election, chances are (without outside intervention) they still hate him.

I forget...what was the final count again? Would you say that a nationwide drop of 3% would be VERY VERY similar?

And he has done what to make people think better of him? Pander to the Christians? Business?

He's an asswipe. People are starting to wake up. Too bad they didn't earlier.

People are not waking up anymore than they were one year ago. Stop fooling yourself.

No of course not. 3% nationwide is huge in elections. Like i said earlier, he has done nothing to make him people love or hate him any more than they already did. Of course there will be slight variations.

The new polls correlates into about 16% of Bush voters having changed their minds about Bush and probably the Republican party.

YOu can poll all you want, but until you have an election that doesn't mean anything.

It does if you're a Congress up for re-election every 2 years.

Well it actually means that 16% of those who voted for Bush regret doing so.

OK and like i said. Until every single person who wants to vote votes again you cannot call those polls accurate. What if on the outside chance every single house was liberal, or every single house was conservative. You cannot base ANYTHING off of polls unless the entire group of people that the poll is representing is polled.

Want to talk about bush getting our guys killed in Iraq? Look at Kerry. First, that whole switftboat thing -a lie. The ordinance reports showed that there was only 1 bullet hole in kerry's boat. not 500 like there should be if his story is true. In actuality, all the boats with Kerry ran into a trap (mines). When one ship blew up, kerry's boat ran away, and only came back when it was safe.

Also, kerry went along with Jane Fonda, stating basically that the torture our boys had been eduring under the hands of their captors, the veitnamese, was deserved. Kerry even testified against our boys in congress! The north vietnamese took that as an excuse to beat them some more.

I don't care what polls say, as they can never be that accuarte. They said the last time around that bush was loosing popularity and everyone though he sucked....but here he is in his second term. PLus, polls can be biased......

Many of the polls, as bad as I hate to say it, had Bush leading going into the election. Even zogby's poll had Bush leading at that time.

This isn't about Kerry (start your own thread). We're talking about Bush's current numbers, thank you very much. (Kerry sucked)

Maybe not day one, but there is a trend.

The "real" political capital that Bush had was right after 9/11. He could have been the "Uniter" that he preached about. Instead, he's blown his load in Iraq and the evil dooer Saddam and the rest is history.

What makes you think that just because some of us think the Dub is doing a horrible job as President (well according to the polls most of us) that we are Democrats and were enamored with Kerry?

I thought Kerry was a piss poor candidate and that the Democrats are about as bad as the Republicans

If this poll is anything like the Washington Post-ABC News poll a couple days ago it doesn't mean much. Bad samples and even worse questions.

But hey- you Bush haters can lap up the "news" created by these "news" organizations if it helps you sleep...

CsG

Typical response from you repubs around here. Gloat that you won...gloat that your going to get your agenda pushed through. Then news become bad...it stays bad.. poll numbers are plummetting... typical neo-con response? "Oh well I hope you enjoy your poll...it doesn't mean anything, I'm glad your enjoying this and it helps you sleep, blah blah".

You know what? IT DOES HELP ME SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT! SO EAT A GOD-DAMN COOKIE IM HAVING ONE TOO WITH A GLASS OF MILK.

Hmm... record number of donations for the Democratic party in an off-election year. Sounds good to me.
