Well, I tried SETI out and it lasted with that for about a month...we'll see how long I stick with this. 😉

Just added more heat tonight for our night at "the geek drag races" and gonna try to put another back online tomorrow.
 
I've been funning for about 2 hours in graphical mode because it is kool to watch, but have only completed like 60 uploads or whatever they are called. that seems low to me. I ahve it running in background now. I have a feeling it will run much better in background. how many per hour is good?
 
I'll bite. Will run 24/7 on my 800 P3 (unless I'm watching a movie on it, as it functions as my HTPC) and possibly on my P4 2.4c and my 1.4 P-M laptop when they're not in use.
 
Hmmm... Okay... good bye Seti (on this computer... kids computer still has SETI). ]
That way, the kids can be cool at school (because their computer is working on searching for extraterrestrial intelligence)
And my computer can help out the physics community (which I'm a part of)

Now that SETI is doing ok, I will put my dual Athlon on DPAD... As soon as I get a new PSU that failed on me.
 
Sorry, I'm not switching projects on this one. My cycles are already going to the only DC project I personally find compelling (see sig). Good luck with your friendly competition.
