Wow it pays to check FB Marketplace sometimes. I need a new battery for my shed solar setup since that battery got used to replace a dead one in my UPS, so I put the dead one in the shed, but it's VERY dead so it won't last more than a minute if the solar stops producing. Someone selling a 200ah gel one for $30. I normally would not use a gel cell for this type of application but at that price I figure it will at least get me through until I get a proper setup. I really need to look at a properly vented box with cooling though, as this heat will kill that battery in a matter of days. Gel cells don't do well in high heat as they swell up and vent, and you can't really add water.

Lol helps to read the rating properly. It was 240 watt hours, not amp hours. Only 20ah. Oh well $30 is still decent, that's about what I would pay for two 7.2ah UPS batteries.

This should hold me over for a bit on the solar. Just need to figure out the terminals as they lost the bolts that came with it.

7.2ah batteries are closer to 30 each now.
