Got him just now. 2nd try tonight! It was actually really easy. For P3 we just spread out all over the platform and have people "kite" the ghosts. It took us a while to get through to 10%, but it was ezmode with everyone spread out a ton. Kingslayer YAH!!!

Oh, and btw, we got double str/stam maces...which went to offspecs...sweet blizz.

I got like 6 achievements at once... +0, +1, +2, +3, decent into madness, and ulduar clear

just missing razor of all things for my mount

How far did you guys end up getting? I recall someone saying in general like a 20% wipe.


My guild is still stuck on Queen. We finally made it past an air phase without losing half the raid last night, but hit the enrage timer a few times. People keep not showing and the officers refuse to pug people so we always 23-24 man it. We only had two DPS making the cut off point in damage I calculated off the top of my head (3.6mil with 15 dps).

Queen's our next target as well and we've tried to do the same silly partial group crap =\.

The air phase is such a pain... I'll be in a great spot with no one around me and then I see some idiot just run toward me >_<. That happens to me on princes with Empowered Shock Vortex too... I've actually been killed by it before (4 people gang raped me :().

It is sad that we can't do this fight. I mean, we 1 shot every other boss no problems, but Queen we can't take down. People just can't seem to grasp, when you get away from everyone, just sit still. No need to move unless you're having to bite someone.

I don't know your raid comps but I can tell you what helps us. (I'm also not sure you're on heroic or normal)

For first fear, we have everyone pop health rocks, and burn a defensive cool down if they have one. (ie barkskin)

For second we have the priests and druids all in separate groups so when she goes up, defensive cool downs if they are up, and once she starts shooting all druids tranq (even dps and tank) priests hymn of hope or whatever they have (pretty sure that's not what it's called) and once that's done everyone is pretty much alive and it's a burn and BL at 45 seconds.

First time was close, but every time after that we've one shot her.

We run with two druids and healing is never the issue in the air phases. Our healers are top notch, but when a couple tards run around in circles getting everyone 1 shot, it is a little hard to finish the fight. Not to mention that, and people not biting someone and getting MC'd. I live through the air phases no matter what. I am either alone dpsing the boss or if tards swarm me, I pop a Deterrence.

But then again, I have "Wake up in the morning feeling like P.Diddy" macro'd in my rotation, so I shouldn't except ICC General to be serious.

Ugh, this new case is such a pain in the ass. I can't use the top 5.25 drive bay because it's too close to the expansion slots... I can't stand the idea of not having my DVD burner in anything but the top slot. I also have to turn my PSU around because the SATA power connectors are backwards and it's really difficult to turn them and still plug them all in. Not to mention the shitty plastic HDD holder thingies. One of them obviously isn't working right and it pushes out whenever I try to plug something into the drive.

I kinda don't recommend it if you want a painless build. I tried turning the PSU around and I still have to twist my SATA power cables around. The one thing I don't like is the lack of a good designated spot for the PSU. I don't have a modular power supply, so I have an ass ton of power cables.

I think I'll just move my drive to the bottom I guess =\.

EDIT:

I'd so much rather work on my PC than sit here wiping on blood wing trash.

Well, it's all done. Windows 7 is installed and damn, it only takes a mere 20-ish seconds to go from me seeing the ASUS boot screen to Windows being completely done loading everything :eek:. The system seems to be a little noisy and I'm not terribly sure what is that noisy... probably the video card, but it's only at ~30&#37; speed.

Right now I'm letting the ASUS tool automatically overclock my system for me :p. I'm at a 11% overclock at the moment and not too sure when it will stop!

Ooop, BSOD (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) ... that's probably not good :p.

EDIT:

I'm considering what to do with this machine... I'm thinking that I might turn it into more of a development/everyday use PC to keep the newer one "more pure", but that just sounds like a lot of hassle, so I'm not too sure.

A few minutes ago, Modk, a Death Knight Juggernaut (US-Mal'ganis) was the first player to complete the questline to rebuild the legendary Shadowmourne. Congratulations to one lucky DK, and a very supportive guild!

According to Modk, the axe behaves exactly like in the video I posted a while back, except that the proc was slightly changed in a later version of the game, see Item - Shadowmourne Legendary.
