Masks can also be protection FOR you, it's not like they are one way. But in either case, people won't wear them because either: YOLO, or big gubmint better not tread on me.

I'm in Red Florida, which of course is only Red by a razor's edge in many elections. I don't get out much--I haven't been in a public building since March--but from my car it sure seems like everything's "back to normal". The only thing spoiling the wonderful feeling are the few stick-in-the-mud mask wearers that seem to be getting less and less common.

WHEEEEEE!!!!

Why try what boring ol Japan does, sure they never shut down anything but what a bunch of losers wearing masks and not talking or shouting in public. We have scoreboard all over them, heck we'll have 200,000 before they have 1000 deaths at this rate! It's all very exciting. And who needs their (or anyone else's) tourism dollars when they cross us off vacation plans for being the spot on maps that says "Here Be Plague".

Texas revoked the liquor licenses (for now) of a few bars because they had too many customers inside and many of them did not wear any mask.

I do think it is funny that liberals are now demanding everyone should follow rules and protocols. Can folks say they have masks but those masks are documented? LOL.

Wut? I legitimately want to understand what your point is but I can’t find it. Care to explain better?

I was poking fun at how liberals want everyone to follow rules and protocols in this situation but not in other situation(s).

For the record. I do wear mask whenever I am in public. I purchased disposable masks way back in Feb/early March.

I get it, sort of like how I say deficits only matter when there is a Democrat President

Ok. So are we going to go after ALL churches? Or only the ones you don't like?

I think I was pretty clear. The ones that violate attendance and distancing guidelines. But keep on buying into culture wars. This thing doesn't give a shit about ideologies, race, creed, or gender.

The first reports were from early April. Which is right about when they started to tell us to wear masks. I guess it isn't their fault they didn't know sooner? It's too bad though. People wearing masks through March would likely have been a big help.

We put our people in masks in March. This information was known, it's not like it originated in the US and there was no experience with it.. but more data coming in does help.

If you watched video you would have seen masks on the vast majority of people in the Asian countries who were fighting this early on... places like Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, likely Japan too. They knew from the SARS days. Wear a mask, don't bitch. They fought it off so so much better than we have. Lost... get lost!

Yup. And look at their rates. A fraction of ours. We're dumb as fuck

Let me make it clearer.

So you want to charge taxes on churches that violate this attendance and distance order/guideline. So by the same standard, any other church should face similar penalty when they violate any order/guideline/rule/law? Yes or No? (see the "any")

Not from me about rule following, sometimes some rules need to be broken.

Well, at least you are honest about that.

By the same standard, some folks could say "sometimes some rules need to be broken" just because they don't want to wear any mask because <insert their own reasons/excuses here>.

For readers that do not follow the whole thread, I do wear mask. See my post above.

Come on guys, he is trolling you. No one is so dumb as to think that covering your mouth and nose during a flu like epidemic is a bad idea.
He is just riling you up for those liberal tears.

I am a free thinker.

And breather.

This isn't freedom you schmuck.

Being a baby about it keeps this thing going.
That means it's still killing people.
It's fucking up the economy.
Millions are unemployed
It has all these businesses and events shut down.
We can't return to normal.
This is the opposite of freedom.

Quit being a fing child. You ain't tough.
Man up and do what needs to be done to defeat this thing.

Churches should be closed, same with bars. Gyms too, I'm hearing stories these are packed and I can't imagine a better way to spread a virus even if you did wear a mask (which apparently people aren't anyway).

You can work out at home, you can drink at home, you can worship at home.

If you must do these things somewhere reasonably close to others, do them outside.

---

But who am I kidding. A huge segment of the population is unwilling to take the *slightest* precautions, so I'm hunkering down exactly like Jim Cantore wouldn't, at home.

Anyone who says not wearing a mask is about "freedom" is at best a selfish entitled ahole. At worst they are trying to spread the thing.

If you're talking about Lost... he gets his wish concerning me. On my ignore list likely permanently. That kind of gibberish is unforgivable.

Mine is too, I mean how much BS can you take before you just stuff someone in your IL?

I put up with a lot of BS at least from those who are somewhat entertaining about it. But lost and whoever that new guy is are just insane or straight up trolling and not worth the cycles.

I assume you're calling Texans hypocrites for their stances on undocumented immigration? Makes sense because these things are totally the same.

Only if by their own choice. Never by Government mandate.
